17. וְהָאָרֶץ הָיְתָה תֹהוּ וָבֹהוּ וְגוֹ’, הָיְתָה דַּוְקָא מִקֹּדֶם לָזֶה, שֶׁלֶג בְּתוֹךְ הַמַּיִם. יָצְאָה מִמֶּנָּה זֻהֲמָה בְּאוֹתוֹ כֹּחַ שֶׁל שֶׁלֶג בַּמַּיִם, וְהִכָּה בָּהּ אֵשׁ חֲזָקָה וְהָיְתָה בָּהּ פְּסֹלֶת, וְהוּסְרָה וְנֶעֶשְׂתָה תֹּה”וּ מִמְּקוֹם [מָדוֹר] הַזֻּהֲמָה, קֵן הַפְּסֹלֶת. וָבֹה”וּ – בֵּרוּר שֶׁהִתְבָּרֵר מִתּוֹךְ פְּסֹלֶת וְהִתְיַשֵּׁב בָּהּ הַחֹשֶׁךְ, הַסּוֹד שֶׁל אֵשׁ חֲזָקָה. וְאוֹתוֹ חֹשֶׁ”ךְ כִּסָּה עַל אוֹתוֹ תֹה”וּ עַל גַּבֵּי אוֹתָהּ פְּסֹלֶת וְהִתְתַּקְּנָה מִמֶּנּוּ.
\n18. וְרוּחַ אֱלֹהִים – רוּחַ הַקֹּדֶשׁ שֶׁיָּצְאָה מֵאֱלֹהִים חַיִּים, וְזוֹ מְרַחֶפֶת עַל פְּנֵי הַמַּיִם. אַחַר שֶׁרוּחַ זוֹ נָשְׁבָה, נִבְרְרָה דַקִּיקוּת אַחַת מִתּוֹךְ אוֹתָהּ פְּסֹלֶת כְּמוֹ שְׁבִיב הַזֻּהֲמָה. כְּשֶׁנִּבְרְרָה וְנִצְנְפָה וְנִצְרְפָה פַּעַם וּפַעֲמַיִם, עַד שֶׁנִּשְׁאֲרָה אוֹתָהּ זֻהֲמָה שֶׁאֵין בָּהּ כְּלָל זֻהֲמָה.
\n19. כְּשֶׁהַתֹּהוּ הַזֶּה נִבְרַר וְנִצְרַף, יָצָא מִמֶּנּוּ רוּחַ גְּדוֹלָה וְחָזָק מְפָרֵק הָרִים וּמְשַׁבֵּר סְלָעִים, אוֹתוֹ שֶׁרָאָה אֵלִיָּהוּ. נִבְרַר בָּהֶם וְנִצְרַף, וְיָצָא מִמֶּנּוּ רַעַשׁ, שֶׁכָּתוּב (שם) וְאַחַר הָרוּחַ רַעַשׁ. וְנִבְרַר הַחֹשֶׁךְ וְנִכְלַל בַּסּוֹד שֶׁלּוֹ אֵשׁ, שֶׁכָּתוּב וְאַחַר הָרַעַשׁ אֵשׁ. נִבְרַר הָרוּחַ וְנִכְלַל בַּסּוֹד שֶׁלּוֹ קוֹל דְּמָמָה דַקָּה.<\/div>\n

Genesis 1:2<\/a>
\n“ וְהָאָרֶץ, הָיְתָה תֹהוּ וָבֹהוּ, וְחֹשֶׁךְ, עַל-פְּנֵי תְהוֹם; וְרוּחַ אֱלֹהִים, מְרַחֶפֶת עַל-פְּנֵי הַמָּיִם.”
\n“The earth was formless and void, and darkness was over the surface of the deep, and the Spirit of God was moving over the surface of the waters.”<\/p>\n

The first Tzimtzum created a state of light and darkness. The light was always there but darkness created as a result of concealing the light of the Endless. This concealment of Light created the impurities that is the root and power of the negative side. <\/p>\n

Malchut<\/a> is the aspect of that lack of Light. The verse above also reveals that the Light of Binah<\/a>, which is the aspect of the ‘Spirit of God’ became available to ‘moving over the surface of the water’ in the second Tzimtzum, allowing us to create unification and receive the Light that <\/p>\n

Even at the root of Chaos, we can find and have the ability to connecct to the Light.<\/p>\n
