38. הָיְתָה דְחוּקָה לוֹ [הַשָּׁעָה] לְרַבִּי אֱלִיעֶזֶר. הוֹצִיא שְׁתֵּי זְרוֹעוֹתָיו וְשָׂם אוֹתָם עַל לִבּוֹ. פָּתַח וְאָמַר, אוֹי הָעוֹלָם, הָעוֹלָם הָעֶלְיוֹן חוֹזֵר לְהִתְכַּנֵּס וּלְהִגָּנֵז מִן הַתַּחְתּוֹן כָּל אוֹר וּמָאוֹר. אוֹי לָכֶם שְׁתֵּי זְרוֹעוֹת, אוֹי לָכֶם שְׁתֵּי תוֹרוֹת שֶׁיִּהְיוּ נִשְׁכָּחִים הַיּוֹם הַזֶּה מִן הָעוֹלָם. שֶׁאָמַר רַבִּי יִצְחָק, כָּל יְמֵי רַבִּי אֱלִיעֶזֶר הָיְתָה הַשְּׁמוּעָה מְאִירָה מִפִּיו כַּיּוֹם שֶׁנִּתְּנָה בְּהַר סִינַי.

Rabbi Eliezer was about to leave the world. After teaching Rabbi Akiva deep secrets the upper levels closed. He raised his hands and placed them on his heart, saying woe to the world that will forget the two Torahs, one of the upper world and one of the lower world.<\/p>\n

Rabbi Eliezer was a spiritual giant who earned access to the Light of Chokma<\/a>. It opened for him all levels of Torah understanding, about which he said that even if all the people of the world were scribes, they would not be able to write all the wisdom he studied, understood and served other wise Torah scholars.
\nHe also said that his students took from him knowledge like a drop of the eye and he took from his masters like a drink from the sea.<\/p>\n

Rabbi Eliezer was aware that his students couldn’t take much from his great Light, as he couldn’t take much from his masters.<\/p>\n

Lessons:<\/strong>
\nWe can’t even grasp the levels of spiritual knowledge and understanding of the great Torah scholars. When the Holy Temple existed they had access to the Light that came from the upper three Sefirot, and could see beyond time. The generation that followed the destruction, like Rabbi Shimon, also enjoyed great Light that was still available due to great teachers like Rabbi Eliezer and Rabbi Akiva that could channel the Light from the great ‘sea” of wisdom to few special students.
\nThey could resurrect the dead because they had access to the upper three Sefirot that are the source of the life force. For that reason they could also control other aspects of nature.<\/p>\n

When one has a connection to the upper Lights one can channel it and bless others with it.<\/p>\n

Serving others creates an open channel to the one being served. With proper consciousness the one who serves can tap in and benefit from the Light of the one he serves.<\/p>\n

We are lucky to have the internet that channels Light at the speed of light. Many studies are accessible by any person with internet access. At the same second this study is published online it becomes available to all users on the internet.
