37. וַיִּהְיוּ. רַבּוֹתֵינוּ פָּתְחוּ בַּפָּסוּק הַזֶּה (שיר ז) לְכָה דוֹדִי נֵצֵא הַשָּׂדֶה נָלִינָה בַּכְּפָרִים. שָׁנוּ רַבּוֹתֵינוּ, הַיּוֹצֵא לַדֶּרֶךְ יִתְפַּלֵּל שָׁלֹשׁ תְּפִלּוֹת: תְּפִלָּה שֶׁהִיא חוֹבָה שֶׁל יוֹם, וּתְפִלַּת הַדֶּרֶךְ עַל הַדֶּרֶךְ שֶׁהוּא עוֹשֶׂה, וּתְפִלָּה שֶׁיַּחֲזֹר לְבֵיתוֹ לְשָׁלוֹם. וְיֹאמַר אֶת הַשְּׁלֹשָׁה הָאֵלּוּ, אֲפִלּוּ בְּאֶחָד יָכוֹל לַעֲשׂוֹתוֹ, שֶׁשָּׁנִינוּ, כָּל שְׁאֵלוֹתָיו שֶׁל אָדָם יָכוֹל לִכְלֹל אוֹתָן בְּשׁוֹמֵעַ תְּפִלָּה.

\nZohar Chaye Sarah<\/strong><\/p>\n

Psalms 139:16<\/a>
\n“גָּלְמִי רָאוּ עֵינֶיךָ וְעַל סִפְרְךָ כֻּלָּם יִכָּתֵבוּ יָמִים יֻצָּרוּ ולא [וְלוֹ] אֶחָד בָּהֶם.”
\n“Your eyes have seen my unformed body; And in Your book were all written The days that were ordained for me, When as yet there was not one of them.”<\/p>\n

The Zohar explains this verse and tells us that everyone’s actions, good or bad are written in a book that exists in the upper level. The book is opened when the person comes before the judge.<\/p>\n

The ‘unformed body’ is the aspect of the physical action in this world. Everything is recorded and counted for the world to come, even if it was done without consciousness. The Zohar recommends that we prepare our consciousness and pray before any action we do in this world.<\/p>\n

Proverb 3:6<\/a> “בְּכָל-דְּרָכֶיךָ דָעֵהוּ; וְהוּא, יְיַשֵּׁר אֹרְחֹתֶיךָ.”
\n“In ALL your ways acknowledge Him, and He will direct your paths.”<\/p>\n

When we have the Light in our mind we add Chassadim<\/a> to every action we take. When we do a Mitzvah (precept, good action) and use L’Shem Yichud<\/a>* we correct our souls. We need to add the proper meditation of unifying the Light and the vessel.<\/p>\n

Translation of the Hebrew paragraph is below.<\/p>\n

For the unification of the Holy one Blessed be He and the Shechina (יאהדונהי), with Awe and Love (יאההויהה), Love and Awe (איההיוהה), in complete unification (יהוה) on behalf of all Israel<\/a>. Here we come to establish connection with this action to its supernal<\/a> and spiritual root, to give gratification to our Maker and do the will of our Creator. And the beneficent of our God be upon us. And the work of our hands establishes our connection below and our action connects to Him (YHVH<\/a>).
