39. אָמַר רַבִּי יִצְחָק, אֵין אָדָם עוֹשֶׂה עֲבֵרוֹת אֶלָּא מִי שֶׁהוּא גֹלֶם וְלֹא אָדָם, וְהַיְנוּ אוֹתוֹ שֶׁלֹּא מִסְתַּכֵּל בַּנְּשָׁמָה הַקְּדוֹשָׁה, אֶלָּא כָּל מַעֲשָׂיו כַּבְּהֵמָה הַזּוֹ שֶׁאֵין מַשְׁגַּחַת וְאֵין יוֹדַעַת. אָמַר רַבִּי בּוֹ, וְכִי גֹלֶם נִקְרָא דָוִד שֶׁאָמַר אֶת הַפָּסוּק הַזֶּה? אָמַר לוֹ רַבִּי יִצְחָק, אָדָם הָרִאשׁוֹן אֲמָרוֹ, גָּלְמִי רָאוּ עֵינֶיךָ. קֹדֶם שֶׁזָּרַקְתָּ בִּי נְשָׁמָה, רָאוּ עֵינֶיךָ לַעֲשׂוֹת בִּדְמוּתִי בְּנֵי אָדָם שֶׁיִּדְמוּ לִי. וְעַל סִפְרְךָ כֻּלָּם יִכָּתֵבוּ, מִי הֵם? יָמִים יֻצָּרוּ, בַּצּוּרָה הַזּוֹ שֶׁלִּי. וְלֹא אֶחָד בָּהֶם, שֶׁלֹּא נִשְׁאָר אֶחָד מֵהֶם.

Psalms 139:16<\/a>
\n“גָּלְמִי רָאוּ עֵינֶיךָ וְעַל סִפְרְךָ כֻּלָּם יִכָּתֵבוּ יָמִים יֻצָּרוּ ולא [וְלוֹ] אֶחָד בָּהֶם.”
\n“Your eyes have seen my unformed body; And in Your book were all written The days that were ordained for me, When as yet there was not one of them.”<\/p>\n

The ‘unformed body’ from this verse that we started studying in previous DZ, is a body that lives without taking care of the soul it carries.<\/p>\n

The Zohar reveals that Adam, the first created man, said these words after his sin. He was created on Friday and made the sin before receiving the additional soul of Shabbat.<\/p>\n

Adam’s beauty and light were like the radiance of the highest sky in heavens. It was like the Light God concealed for the righteous in the world to come. For that reason, all men that were brought to life in Adam’s form died in ways other than natural death. The Zohar brings the example of King Saul and Samson. They had a some of Adam’s light and power and died by external force.<\/p>\n

Even though we are all Israelites<\/a> and parts of the soul of Adam, we do not share the special Light he had from the upper and concealed level. It is waiting for the righteous among us and we should make efforts to earn this Light for the world to come.<\/p>\n
