The Zohar reveals that Laban tried 10 different ways to hurt Jacob but couldn’t. It came to a point that Jacob feared that Laban may cause him direct physical harm instead of witchcraft since it didn’t work on him. He asked his wife to get ready to run away from their father because it’s time to move on.<\/p>\n

Genesis 31:7<\/a>
\n“וַאֲבִיכֶן הֵתֶל בִּי, וְהֶחֱלִף אֶת-מַשְׂכֻּרְתִּי עֲשֶׂרֶת מֹנִים; וְלֹא-נְתָנוֹ אֱלֹהִים, לְהָרַע עִמָּדִי.”
\n“Yet your father has cheated me and changed my wages ten times; however, God did not allow him to hurt me.”<\/p>\n

The ten different types of witchcraft are forbidden for us to use because they draw forces from the negative side.<\/p>\n

Deuteronomy 18:10<\/a>, 11
\n“לֹא-יִמָּצֵא בְךָ, מַעֲבִיר בְּנוֹ-וּבִתּוֹ בָּאֵשׁ, קֹסֵם קְסָמִים, מְעוֹנֵן וּמְנַחֵשׁ וּמְכַשֵּׁף”
\n“וְחֹבֵר, חָבֶר; וְשֹׁאֵל אוֹב וְיִדְּעֹנִי, וְדֹרֵשׁ אֶל-הַמֵּתִים”
\n“There shall not be found among you anyone who makes his son or his daughter pass through the fire, one who uses divination, one who practices witchcraft, or one who interprets omens, or a sorcerer,”
\n“or one who casts a spell, or a medium, or a spiritist, or one who calls up the dead.”<\/p>\n

The other side<\/a> has great forces that can be utilized easily if a person connects to them through negative and impure actions. The main problem is that it draws judgments and the user of these negative methods may hurt himself sooner or later. The worst thing is that person loses his soul to the other side<\/a>, sometimes without ability to correct.
\nMany people want to peek into their future and look for people who are specialized in these negative methods. They can reveal a great deal of truth but there’s always a big price to pay and a great failure to experience along the negative path they follow.<\/p>\n

As a general rule everything that is related to objects and or touched by people is wrong and negative. Tarot and other cards reading are negative. Even if they reveal some truth, they lead to negative outcome because the force that provides the revelation wants to drain the person’s energy. Like the snake<\/a>, it has some truth but it leads to judgment and aspects of death.<\/p>\n
