Balaam knew that his powers could not give him and Balak the desired outcome of destroying the Israelites<\/a>, and he told that to Balak.<\/p>\n

Numbers 23:21<\/a>
\n“לֹא-הִבִּיט אָוֶן בְּיַעֲקֹב, וְלֹא-רָאָה עָמָל בְּיִשְׂרָאֵל; יְהוָה אֱלֹהָיו עִמּוֹ, וּתְרוּעַת מֶלֶךְ בּוֹ.”
\n“He has not observed misfortune in Jacob; Nor has He seen trouble in Israel<\/a>; YHVH<\/a> his God is with him, And the shout of a king is among them.”<\/p>\n

The Zohar reveals that only the children of Israel<\/a> have the access to the holy system because they are his children, his chosen people, and it makes them holy.<\/p>\n

Deuteronomy 14:1<\/a>,2
\n“בָּנִים אַתֶּם, לַיהוָה אֱלֹהֵיכֶם”
\n“כִּי עַם קָדוֹשׁ אַתָּה, לַיהוָה אֱלֹהֶיךָ; וּבְךָ בָּחַר יְהוָה, לִהְיוֹת לוֹ לְעַם סְגֻלָּה, מִכֹּל הָעַמִּים, אֲשֶׁר עַל-פְּנֵי הָאֲדָמָה”
\n“You are the sons of YHVH<\/a> your God;”
\n“For you are a holy people to the LORD your God, and YHVH<\/a> has chosen you to be a people for His own possession out of all the nations who are on the face of the earth.”<\/p>\n

The Israelites<\/a> can connect spiritually and go above the limitation of the corporeal world. The other nations are limited to the lower level because they are ‘on the face of the earth’.<\/p>\n

Leviticus 11:44<\/a>
\n“כִּי אֲנִי יְהוָה, אֱלֹהֵיכֶם, וְהִתְקַדִּשְׁתֶּם וִהְיִיתֶם קְדֹשִׁים, כִּי קָדוֹשׁ אָנִי”
\n“For I am YHVH<\/a> your God. Consecrate yourselves therefore, and be holy, for I am holy. ”<\/p>\n

We should always walk on the path that cleanses and purifies us, starting by avoiding all the “you shall not do…” precepts. One of these important precepts is not to follow idols. Idols are all dependencies and beliefs that something material has some kind of pure holy powers.<\/p>\n

I saw many students of Kabbalah using all kind of objects and jewelry with names expecting miracles in their lives or at least gain benefit from carrying the name(s). This is pure idol worshiping and should be discouraged by all teachers of Kabbalah. Carrying a small Zohar book is better than names on expensive jewelry.
\nThe 72 names are sacred and powerful but they can’t be channeled and manifested where there is no proper vessel. In many cases improper use of the names brings judgment and opposite outcome. The 72 names can best help a person only if they use them as a whole, proceeded with proper prayers and meditations. Only a righteous Kabbalist can recommend a specific use of names for a specific person. Each person has a unique vessel and a channel of Light so is the spiritual tools that can support him. A prayer in a Minyan (group of minimum 10 people) can provide greater elevation of the individual prayer that golden jewelry and diamonds, worth thousands of dollars. Some jewelries are really beautiful but the spiritual value is from none to negative.<\/p>\n

I was asked about the use of Astrology as a way to predict the future. My answer is that Astrology is okay because the constellation exist since the creation and no human or ‘earthly’ force can influence their movements. Astrology can help a person understand his path in life and overcome challenges by elevating himself spiritually using the meditation and tools of Kabbalah. This aspect is called ‘going above the influence of the Zodiac’.<\/p>\n
