40. וְהָיָה שְׁנֵי גְדוֹלִים רַבִּים מְעֻלִּים הָיוּ דוֹפְקִים תַּחַת כִּסֵּא הַכָּבוֹד, שֶׁאֶפּוֹטְרוֹפּוֹס שֶׁל יִשְׂרָאֵל מִדָּה חֲמִישִׁית, מִשּׁוּם הֱיוֹתָם בַּגָּלוּת כָּל הַזְּמַן הַזֶּה, וְקָרָה שֶׁיִּשְׁכַּח אוֹתָם בְּאֶרֶץ שׂוֹנְאֵיהֶם.

\nZecharia 14:7<\/a>
\n“וְהָיָה יוֹם-אֶחָד, הוּא יִוָּדַע לַיהוָה–לֹא-יוֹם וְלֹא-לָיְלָה; וְהָיָה לְעֵת-עֶרֶב, יִהְיֶה-אוֹר”
\n“For it will be a one day that YHVH<\/a> will be known, neither day nor night, but it will come about that at evening time there will be light.”
\nThe Zohar continues with the study of this verse and teach us a new aspect of it.
\nWhile we are in Exile (far from the Light), we need to correct the judgments in Malchut<\/a>, which is the aspect of night by elevating to Binah<\/a>, which is the aspect of day, to draw light of Mercy.
\nBinah<\/a> is represented with the upper letter H of the the YHVH<\/a> name and Malchut<\/a> with the lower H. They have similarity of shape\/vessel but the upper H is the provider of Light and the lower H is the empty vessel that is dependent on the upper H for sustenance. On Shabbat Malchut<\/a> is elevated to Binah<\/a> and we have opportunity to draw from its light through the different spiritual connections mainly with the prayers, Torah reading and three meals with Kiddush.
\nAt the end of the world’s Tikun<\/a> the lower H will be corrected and be able to receive lights like Binah<\/a>. This is the state the sages call ‘עולם שכולו שבת’, ‘a world that is all Shabbat’. At this level of light we won’t have judgments won’t have the need to pray for Light because the light will be available at all times. The individual benefits of this state will be based on the vessel prepared before arriving to that day. The greater the vessel the greater the reward and spiritual abilities.
\nBecause our goal in this life is to achieve the merit of being part of that day, we conclude every prayer with the words of the prophet that reveal; on that day we will have the light of upper and lower in equality.
\nZecharia 14:9<\/a>
\n“וְהָיָה יְהוָה לְמֶלֶךְ, עַל-כָּל-הָאָרֶץ; בַּיּוֹם הַהוּא, יִהְיֶה יְהוָה אֶחָד–וּשְׁמוֹ אֶחָד”
