38. בֵּית ה’ שֶׁהוּא בֵּית הַמִּקְדָּשׁ, כְּמוֹ עֲזָרוֹת וּלְשָׁכוֹת וּבֵית הָאוּלָם וְהַדְּבִיר, זֶה בֵּית הַמִּקְדָּשׁ, וַדַּאי נִקְרָא בֵּית ה’. בֵּית הַמֶּלֶךְ – זֶה קֹדֶשׁ הַקֳּדָשִׁים, שֶׁהוּא הַפְּנִימִי שֶׁל הַכֹּל, הַמֶּלֶךְ סְתָם. מֶלֶךְ זֶה, אַף עַל גַּב שֶׁהוּא מֶלֶךְ עֶלְיוֹן, הוּא נְקֵבָה אֶל נְקֻדָּה הָעֶלְיוֹנָה, נִסְתֶּרֶת הַכֹּל. וְאַף עַל גַּב שֶׁהוּא נְקֵבָה, הוּא זָכָר לַמֶּלֶךְ שֶׁלְּמַטָּה, וְלָכֵן הַכֹּל כְּמוֹ זֶה וְעַל זֶה, תַּחְתּוֹנִים, בְּסוֹד זֶה כָּתוּב בָּהֶם אִישׁ וּבֵיתוֹ בָּאוּ.
\n39. וְאֵלֶּה שְׁמוֹת. רַבִּי [אֶלְעָזָר] יוֹסֵי פָּתַח וְאָמַר (שיר ד) גַּן נָעוּל אֲחֹתִי כַלָּה גַּל נָעוּל מַעְיָן חָתוּם. גַּן נָעוּל – זוֹ כְּנֶסֶת יִשְׂרָאֵל, שֶׁהִיא גַּן נָעוּל. שֶׁאָמַר רַבִּי אֶלְעָזָר, מָה הַגָּן הַזֶּה צָרִיךְ לִשְׁמֹר, לַעְדֹּר וּלְהַשְׁקוֹת וְלִזְמֹר – כָּךְ כְּנֶסֶת יִשְׂרָאֵל צְרִיכָה לַעְדֹּר וְלִשְׁמֹר וּלְהַשְׁקוֹת וְלִזְמֹר, וְנִקְרֵאת גַּן, וְנִקְרֵאת כֶּרֶם. מָה הַכֶּרֶם הַזֶּה צָרִיךְ לַעְדֹּר וּלְהַשְׁקוֹת וְלִזְמֹר וְלַחְפֹּר – כָּךְ יִשְׂרָאֵל. זֶהוּ שֶׁכָּתוּב (ישעיה ה) כִּי כֶרֶם ה’ צְבָאוֹת בֵּית יִשְׂרָאֵל, וְכָתוּב וַיְעַזְּקֵהוּ וַיְסַקְּלֵהוּ וְגוֹ’.<\/div>\n

\n“וַיְהִי כְּכַלּוֹת שְׁלֹמֹה, לִבְנוֹת אֶת-בֵּית-יְהוָה וְאֶת-בֵּית הַמֶּלֶךְ, וְאֵת כָּל-חֵשֶׁק שְׁלֹמֹה, אֲשֶׁר חָפֵץ לַעֲשׂוֹת”
\n“Now it came about when Solomon had finished building the house of YHVH<\/a>, and the king’s house, and all that Solomon desired to do”
\nThe reference to ‘house of YHVH<\/a>’ is for the Holy Temple and the verse mentions also the ‘house of the king’. The Zohar explains that the ‘house of YHVH<\/a>’ is the Holy Temple and the ‘house of the King’ is the holy of holies.
\nThe Holy Temple is a male aspect as it is a channel of light for the entire world and for the ‘King’, who is the Holy of Holies, the Holy Temple is a vessel that receives the light from him.
\nThe spiritual rule is that upper is considered male to the level below it. The Zohar says that Keter<\/a> is considered as ‘black’ to the Endless.
\nThe Holy of Holies was a small inner room in the holy Temple where the High Priest go in one time a year. It was during the service of Yom Kippur. This room was connected to Binah<\/a>, which is a level beyond this world and the high priest as a vessel must be in his highest purity to be able to channel the higher light. If his vessel had the slightest of impurity, it would break and the high priest would die immediately.
\nWhen we give we are the aspect of the letter Vav ו of the YHVH<\/a> name. When the Vav, Zeir Anpin<\/a> is activated with our giving, the Yod, which is the aspect of Keter<\/a> and Chokmah<\/a> release new light to Binah<\/a> that immediately delivers it to Zeir Anpin<\/a> to create continuation of Light. This is a spiritual law as explained in the laws of Maaser.

\nLife is about continuation. Stopping or accumulating money or any kind of materials has the aspect of death. When one doesn’t trust the Creator to provide sustenance for him then he disconnects himself from the continuous blessings coming from the upper levels and that is the aspect of death and darkness.
\nGive to receive light. This may sound as a solicitation to get money. I am not asking to specifically to give to the Daily Zohar. It is a spiritual lesson to understand the power and benefits of certainty in the Light of the Creator. Give as much as you can to those in need for energy of life and for those who help you elevate spiritually. Share your tithe with all of those who feed you light to remove bread of shame.
\nAs we learnt above, the high priest would die literally if his consciousness expressed a little ego or desire for the self. He was close to the Light of Binah<\/a> so the aspect of mercy and time to correct was not available. We are not in the Holy of Holies so we have time to correct ourselves and remove all aspects of death from our lives, just by giving and refreshing the light in our vessels.
