63. כָּתוּב (שיר א) לְסֻסָתִי בְּרִכְבֵי פַרְעֹה דִּמִּיתִיךְ רַעְיָתִי. בֹּא רְאֵה, כְּדֻגְמַת סוּסָה נְקֵבָה נִרְאֲתָה לַסּוּסִים שֶׁל פַּרְעֹה, וּפֵרְשׁוּהָ. אֶלָּא לְסֻסָתִי בְּרִכְבֵי פַרְעֹה – בֹּא רְאֵה, בְּשָׁעָה שֶׁפַּרְעֹה הָיָה רוֹדֵף אַחַר יִשְׂרָאֵל, מֶה עָשָׂה? נָטַל סוּסוֹת נְקֵבוֹת, וְכָפַת אוֹתָן בְּמַרְכְּבוֹתָיו בַּתְּחִלָּה, וְאֶת הַסּוּסִים הַזְּכָרִים כָּפַת מֵאָחוֹר, וְהָיוּ הַזְּכָרִים מִתְחַמְּמִים כְּנֶגֶד הַנְּקֵבוֹת, וְהַנְּקֵבוֹת מְסָרְבוֹת, וּמִהֲרוּ לָרוּץ. כֵּיוָן שֶׁקָּרַב (וְכַאֲשֶׁר הִדְבִּיק) אֶל יִשְׂרָאֵל, נָטַל אֶת הַנְּקֵבוֹת וְשָׂם אוֹתָם לְאָחוֹר, וְהַסּוּסִים הַזְּכָרִים לְפָנִים, כְּדֵי לְהָרַע לְיִשְׂרָאֵל וְלַעֲרֹךְ בָּהֶם קְרָב.
\n64. כְּמוֹ זֶה, וַה’ הֹלֵךְ לִפְנֵיהֶם יוֹמָם, וְאַחַר כָּךְ חָזְרָה הַשְּׁכִינָה לַאֲחוֹרֵי יִשְׂרָאֵל, שֶׁכָּתוּב וַיִּסַּע מַלְאַךְ הָאֱלֹהִים וְגוֹ’. מִשּׁוּם כָּךְ דִּמִּיתִיךְ רַעְיָתִי.
\n65. וּפָסוּק זֶה הֲרֵי פֵּרְשׁוּהוּ, שֶׁהִקְרִיב אֶת כָּל חֵילוֹתָיו וּמַרְכְּבוֹתָיו לַעֲרֹךְ קְרָב. וְעוֹד וּפַרְעֹה הִקְרִיב, רַבִּי יוֹסֵי אָמַר, הֲרֵי נִתְבָּאֵר שֶׁהִקְרִיב אוֹתָם לִתְשׁוּבָה. וּפַרְעֹה הִקְרִיב.<\/div>\n

\nZohar Beshalach<\/strong>
\nWhen chasing the Israelites<\/a> Pharaoh place the female horses ahead of the male horses. The males chased the females that ‘run away’ from them. When they came close to the Israelites<\/a>, Pharaoh switch the leading females with the males because they are more daring and ready for war.
\nExodus 13:21<\/a>
\n“וַיהוָה הֹלֵךְ לִפְנֵיהֶם יוֹמָם בְּעַמּוּד עָנָן, לַנְחֹתָם הַדֶּרֶךְ, וְלַיְלָה בְּעַמּוּד אֵשׁ, לְהָאִיר לָהֶם–לָלֶכֶת, יוֹמָם וָלָיְלָה”
\n“And YHVH<\/a> was going before them in a pillar of cloud by day to lead them on the way, and in a pillar of fire by night to give them light, that they might travel by day and by night.”
\nExodus 14:19<\/a>
\n“וַיִּסַּע מַלְאַךְ הָאֱלֹהִים, הַהֹלֵךְ לִפְנֵי מַחֲנֵה יִשְׂרָאֵל, וַיֵּלֶךְ, מֵאַחֲרֵיהֶם; וַיִּסַּע עַמּוּד הֶעָנָן, מִפְּנֵיהֶם, וַיַּעֲמֹד, מֵאַחֲרֵיהֶם”
\n“The angel of God, who had been going before the camp of Israel<\/a>, moved and went behind them; and the pillar of cloud moved from before them and stood behind them.”
\nThe above verses reveal how God protected the Israelites<\/a> on the way to the Promised Land. God lead them with the pillar of fire at night and clouds of honor during the day. When the Egyptians came close, God moved the Shechinah from the front to Israelites<\/a> to their back to make the fight by himself and destroy the Egyptians.
\nThe verse (Exodus 14:19<\/a>) that describes the move of the Shechina to protect the Israelites<\/a> is the first verse of the three that construct the 72 names. It tells us about the root power of the 72 names.
