50. בֹּא וּרְאֵה, כַּאֲשֶׁר יָצְאוּ יִשְׂרָאֵל מִמִּצְרַיִם, יָצְאוּ מֵרָשׁוּת שֶׁלָּהֶם, מֵרָשׁוּת אַחֶרֶת, מֵהָרָשׁוּת הַהִיא שֶׁנִּקְרֵאת חָמֵץ, לֶחֶם רַע. וְעַל זֶה נִקְרָאִים כּוֹכָבִים וּמַזָּלוֹת כָּךְ, וְזֶהוּ סוֹד שֶׁל יֵצֶר הָרָע, עֲבוֹדָה זָרָה, שֶׁנִּקְרֵאת גַּם כָּךְ – שְׂאוֹר. וְזֶהוּ יֵצֶר הָרָע, שֶׁכָּךְ הוּא יֵצֶר הָרָע בַּבֶּן אָדָם כִּשְׂאוֹר שֶׁבָּעִסָּה, שֶׁנִּכְנָס בְּמֵעָיו שֶׁל אָדָם מְעַט מְעַט, וּלְבַסּוֹף מִתְרַבֶּה בוֹ עַד שֶׁכָּל הַגּוּף מְעֹרָב בּוֹ. וְזֶהוּ כּוֹכָבִים וּמַזָּלוֹת. וְעַל זֶה כָּתוּב, (תהלים פא) לֹא יִהְיֶה בְךָ אֵל זָר. אֵל זָר וַדַּאי.
\n51. אֶת חַג הַמַּצּוֹת תִּשְׁמֹר. רַבִּי יְהוּדָה פָּתַח, (ישעיה ב) חִדְלוּ לָכֶם מִן הָאָדָם אֲשֶׁר נְשָׁמָה בְּאַפּוֹ כִּי בַמֶּה נֶחְשָׁב הוּא. פָּסוּק זֶה פֵּרְשׁוּהוּ, אֲבָל מַה זֶּה חִדְלוּ לָכֶם מִן הָאָדָם? וְכִי מַזְהִיר לוֹ לָאָדָם לְהִמָּנַע מִשְּׁאָר בְּנֵי אָדָם אֲפִלּוּ הֵם גַּם כֵּן מִמֶּנּוּ יִמָּצְאוּ בְנֵי אָדָם שֶׁלֹּא יִתְקָרְבוּ אֵלּוּ בְאֵלּוּ לְעוֹלָמִים? אֶלָּא זֶה פֵּרְשׁוּהוּ בְּמִי שֶׁמַּשְׁכִּים לְפֶתַח חֲבֵרוֹ לְהָבִיא לוֹ שָׁלוֹם.<\/div>\n

\nExodus 23:15<\/a>
\n“אֶת-חַג הַמַּצּוֹת, תִּשְׁמֹר–שִׁבְעַת יָמִים תֹּאכַל מַצּוֹת כַּאֲשֶׁר צִוִּיתִךָ לְמוֹעֵד חֹדֶשׁ הָאָבִיב, כִּי-בוֹ יָצָאתָ מִמִּצְרָיִם; וְלֹא-יֵרָאוּ פָנַי, רֵיקָם”
\n“”You shall observe the Feast of Unleavened Bread; for seven days you are to eat unleavened bread, as I commanded you, at the appointed time in the month Aviv, for in it you came out of Egypt. And none shall appear before Me empty-handed”
\nWe are commanded to keep the holiday of the Matzos (unleavened bread, Passover). The Zohar explains that those who eats Chametz (leavened bread) is like a person who follows idol worshiping.
\nGod took out the Israelites<\/a> from Egypt, releasing them from the control of the other-side<\/a>, which took control over them using their desire for the self alone. There were millions of Israelites<\/a> in Egypt that adopted the Egyptians ways and didn’t want to leave egypt. The sages tell us that these millions of Israelites<\/a> died during the plague of darkness and buried immediately without the knowledge of the Egyptians.
\nThe desire for the self alone is the aspect of death. Following the Light is freedom and life.
\nThe Zohar explains that when the evil side invades the person’s consciousness through a negative opening like the desire for the self alone, it grows inside the person, weakening his positive side until assuming full control.
\nThe protection from losing to the negative side comes from daily connection to the Zohar that blocks the evil from invading our thoughts and actions.
