42. אָמַר רַבִּי יוֹסֵי, אַשְׁרֵי הַדֶּרֶךְ הַזּוֹ שֶׁזָּכִינוֹ לַדָּבָר הַזֶּה. אָמַר לוֹ, מִמִּי שָׁמַעְתָּ אוֹתוֹ? אָמַר לוֹ, יוֹם אֶחָד הָיִיתִי הוֹלֵךְ בַּדֶּרֶךְ וְשָׁמַעְתִּי וְרָאִיתִי אֶת רַב הַמְנוּנָא סָבָא (לְרַבִּי שִׁמְעוֹן) שֶׁהָיָה דּוֹרֵשׁ אֶת הַפָּסוּק הַזֶּה לְרַב אָחָא. וְכֵיוָן שֶׁשָּׁמַעְתִּי, שָׂמַחְתִּי בּוֹ, וְשָׁמַרְתִּי אוֹתוֹ צְרוֹר בִּכְנַף לְבוּשִׁי שֶׁלֹּא יָסוּר מִמֶּנִּי לְעוֹלָמִים. אָמַר לוֹ, וַדַּאי שֶׁדָּבָר קָדוֹשׁ זֶה נָאוֹר מֵהַמְּנוֹרָה הַקְּדוֹשָׁה. אַשְׁרֵי הַדּוֹר שֶׁעַמּוּדֵי הָעוֹלָם וְתוֹמְכָיו שׁוֹרִים בְּתוֹכוֹ, וְאִם אַתָּה צוֹרֵר אֶת הַדָּבָר הַזֶּה בְּקֶשֶׁר אֶחָד שֶׁלֹּא יָסוּר מִמְּךָ – אֲנִי אֶצְרֹר אוֹתוֹ בִּשְׁלֹשִׁים אוֹ בְּאַרְבָּעִים קְשָׁרִים בְּכִיסִי שֶׁלֹּא יָסוּר מִמֶּנִּי לְעוֹלָמִים.
\n43. עַל אוֹתוֹ דָּבָר שֶׁהֶרְאָה הַקָּדוֹשׁ בָּרוּךְ הוּא לְמֹשֶׁה, מִשּׁוּם שֶׁאַף עַל גַּב שֶׁיִּשְׂרָאֵל חָטְאוּ לְפָנָיו בְּכָל דּוֹר וָדוֹר, לֹא רָצָה מִי שֶׁיֹּאמַר עֲלֵיהֶם לָשׁוֹן הָרָע. מִנַּיִן לָנוּ? מֵהוֹשֵׁעַ, שֶׁכָּתוּב (הושע א) תְּחִלַּת דִּבֶּר ה’ בְּהוֹשֵׁעַ. הֲרֵי בֵּאֲרוּ אֶת הַדָּבָר. וְעַל כֵּן הָיָה מִסְפַּר בְּנֵי יִשְׂרָאֵל כְּחוֹל הַיָּם וְגוֹ’. וּמִשּׁוּם כָּךְ בֵּרַךְ אוֹתָם בְּכַמָּה בְּרָכוֹת, לַחֲזֹר בִּתְשׁוּבָה וְלַהֲשִׁיבָם לַאֲבִיהֶם שֶׁבַּשָּׁמַיִם, וְלֹא זָז מִשָּׁם הַקָּדוֹשׁ בָּרוּךְ הוּא עַד שֶׁמָּחַל עַל חֲטָאֵיהֶם וְהִתְנַקּוּ לְפָנָיו.<\/div>\n

\nZohar Ki Tisa<\/strong>
\nRabbi Yosi tells Rabbi Echa that while he was walking on the way, he saw and listened to Rav Hamnuna Sava<\/a> discussing a study related to the End of Days. He was happy and made a knot on his garments to so he will never lose this study.
\nRabbi Echa said that a holy thing like this came from a holy light<\/a> and how blessed is the generation that great pillars sustain the world. He continued to say that if rabbi Yosi made one knot on his garments, he will make 30 or 40 knots in his pocket.
\nTo understand their words and the Zohar in generals we need to understand the terms the Zohar uses in describing different situations.
\nThe garment<\/a> is the surrounding light of a person and a ‘knot’ is a strong connection or a transformation of the study into light that expands the surrounding light and stay forever with the person even if the physical garment<\/a> is worn out and thrown away.
\nMany times in the Zohar we read that the students are walking on ‘the way’ and different things happen to them. ‘The way’ is a high spiritual study that takes the students on a spiritual path of study. In the study of Rabbi Yosi he sees Rav Hamnuna Sava<\/a> that had a soul from the world of Atzilut<\/a>. The Holy Ari in the gate of Reincarnations reveals that Rav Hamnuna had a spark of the soul of Moses.
\nThe ‘pocket’ of Rabbi Echa is the aspect of inner light of the garments that is closer to the soul.
\nAll of our studies become connected to our surrounding light. With acts of prayers, Tzedakah and sharing we internalize the outer\/surrounding Light into our vessel.
