The Torah tells us that the one meal given to Elijah by the angel was enough energy to sustain him for the 40 days and 40 nights long trip.<br>\nElijah found a rest in a cave on the mountain. The first answer was before God&rsquo;s revelation and second was after.<br>\nThe Zohar reveals that Elijah the prophet is Pinchas, even though there were about 600 years between the time of Pinchas and Elijah.<br>\nPinchas received the blessing of the covenant of peace &ldquo;&#1489;&#1512;&#1497;&#1514; &#1513;&#1500;&#1493;&#1501;&rdquo; and when he killed the prophets of idol worship, he broke the aspect of &lsquo;peace&rsquo; from the blessing given to him through Moses and now it was taken away from him.
