44. דָּבָר אַחֵר מִי עָלָה שָׁמַיִם – זֶה אֵלִיָּהוּ, שֶׁכָּתוּב בּוֹ (מלכים-ב ב) וַיַּעַל אֵלִיָּהוּ בַּסֳעָרָה הַשָּׁמָיִם. וְכִי אֵיךְ יָכֹל אֵלִיָּהוּ לַעֲלוֹת לַשָּׁמַיִם, וַהֲרֵי כָּל הַשָּׁמַיִם לֹא יְכוֹלִים לִסְבֹּל אֲפִלּוּ גַּרְעִין שֶׁל חַרְדַּל מִגּוּף הָעוֹלָם הַזֶּה, וְאַתָּה אוֹמֵר וַיַּעַל אֵלִיָּהוּ בַּסֳעָרָה הַשָּׁמָיִם?
\n45. אֶלָּא כְּמוֹ שֶׁנֶּאֱמַר (שמות יט) וַיֵּרֶד ה’ עַל הַר סִינַי. וְכָתוּב (שם כב) וַיָּבֹא מֹשֶׁה בְּתוֹךְ הֶעָנָן וַיַּעַל אֶל הָהָר. וְכִי הַקָּדוֹשׁ בָּרוּךְ הוּא שֶׁהָיָה בְּהַר סִינַי, וְכָתוּב וּמַרְאֵה כְּבוֹד ה’ כְּאֵשׁ אֹכֶלֶת בְּרֹאשׁ הָהָר, אֵיךְ יָכֹל מֹשֶׁה לַעֲלוֹת אֵלָיו? אֶלָּא כָּתוּב בְּמֹשֶׁה, וַיָּבֹא מֹשֶׁה בְּתוֹךְ הֶעָנָן וַיַּעַל אֶל הָהָר. שֶׁנִּכְנַס לְתוֹךְ הֶעָנָן כְּמִי שֶׁמִּתְלַבֵּשׁ בִּלְבוּשׁ, כָּךְ גַּם הִתְלַבֵּשׁ בֶּעָנָן וְנִכְנַס לְתוֹכוֹ, וּבֶעָנָן נִקְרַב לָאֵשׁ וְיָכֹל לִקְרַב. אַף כָּךְ אֵלִיָּהוּ, שֶׁכָּתוּב וַיַּעַל אֵלִיָּהוּ בַּסֳעָרָה הַשָּׁמָיִם, שֶׁנִּכְנַס בְּאוֹתָהּ סֳעָרָה וְהִתְלַבֵּשׁ בְּאוֹתָהּ סֳעָרָה וְעָלָה לְמַעְלָה.<\/div>\n

\nProverbs 30:4<\/a>
\n“מִי עָלָה-שָׁמַיִם וַיֵּרַד, מִי אָסַף-רוּחַ בְּחָפְנָיו מִי צָרַר-מַיִם בַּשִּׂמְלָה מִי, הֵקִים כָּל-אַפְסֵי-אָרֶץ: מַה-שְּׁמוֹ וּמַה-שֶּׁם-בְּנוֹ, כִּי תֵדָע.”
\n“Who has ascended into heaven and descended? Who has gathered the wind in His fists? Who has wrapped the waters in His garment<\/a>? Who has established all the ends of the earth? What is His name or His son’s name? Surely you know!”
\nThe Zohar reveals that the answer to the first question is Moses that was called by God (Exodus 24:1<\/a>) to come to him.
\nThe answer to the second question is Elijah as we read in
\n2 Kings 2:11<\/a>
\n“וַיְהִי, הֵמָּה הֹלְכִים הָלוֹךְ וְדַבֵּר, וְהִנֵּה רֶכֶב-אֵשׁ וְסוּסֵי אֵשׁ, וַיַּפְרִדוּ בֵּין שְׁנֵיהֶם; וַיַּעַל, אֵלִיָּהוּ, בַּסְעָרָה, הַשָּׁמָיִם”
\n“As they were going along and talking, behold, there appeared a chariot<\/a> of fire and horses of fire which separated the two of them. And Elijah went up by a whirlwind to heaven.”
\nThe Zohar asks; how could Elijah go up to heavens when even a tiny mustard seed can not exists in the spiritual realm. The explanation is that Elijah was first got into a cloud that helped him remove his physical body and his soul received a garment<\/a> of light so he can be among the angels. When he comes back to this world he is ‘dressed’ back with a physical body that allows him to reveal himself to people.
\nMoses used the same ‘trick’ to go up and meet with God to bring the Torah to the world.
\nExodus 24:18<\/a>
\n“וַיָּבֹא מֹשֶׁה בְּתוֹךְ הֶעָנָן, וַיַּעַל אֶל-הָהָר; וַיְהִי מֹשֶׁה, בָּהָר, אַרְבָּעִים יוֹם, וְאַרְבָּעִים לָיְלָה”
\n“And Moses entered into the midst of the cloud and he went up to the mountain; and Moses was on the mountain forty days and forty nights.”
\nIf you see a person goes into a cloud and disappears, he’s probably, Elijah and or a righteous person who’s making ‘Kefitzat Haderech’, which is a form of teleportation.
