47. רַבִּי אֶלְעָזָר אָמַר, מִי שֶׁמְּשַׁקֵּר בִּכְנֶסֶת יִשְׂרָאֵל לֹא יִתְקַבֵּל בִּתְשׁוּבָה עַד שֶׁיִּדּוֹן בְּדִין שֶׁל גֵּיהִנֹּם. כָּל שֶׁכֵּן מִי שֶׁמְּשַׁקֵּר בִּכְנֶסֶת יִשְׂרָאֵל וּבַקָּדוֹשׁ-בָּרוּךְ-הוּא. וְכָל שֶׁכֵּן אִם מַטְרִיחַ אֶת הַקָּדוֹשׁ בָּרוּךְ הוּא לַעֲשׂוֹת דְּמוּת שֶׁל מַמְזֵר בְּאִשְׁתּוֹ שֶׁל הָאַחֵר וּמַכְחִישׁ אֶת פִּרְסוּם הַמֶּלֶךְ.
\n48. רַבִּי חִיָּיא פָּתַח וְאָמַר, (משלי כ) גּוֹזֵל אָבִיו וְאִמּוֹ וְגוֹ’. אָבִיו – זֶה הַקָּדוֹשׁ בָּרוּךְ הוּא. אִמּוֹ – זוֹ כְּנֶסֶת יִשְׂרָאֵל. מַה גּוֹזֵל? כְּמוֹ שֶׁנֶּאֱמַר (ישעיה ג) גְּזֵלַת הֶעָנִי בְּבָתֵּיכֶם. וּמִי הִיא? מִי שֶׁחוֹמֵד אִשָּׁה אַחֶרֶת שֶׁאֵינָהּ בַּת זוּגוֹ.

\nProverbs 28:24<\/a>
\n“גּוֹזֵל אָבִיו וְאִמּוֹ וְאֹמֵר אֵין פָּשַׁע חָבֵר הוּא לְאִישׁ מַשְׁחִית”
\n“Whoever robs his father or his mother<\/a> and says, “That is no transgression,” is a companion to a man who destroys.”
\nIt’s almost not exists that one would dare to rob his father and mother<\/a>. It would be easier to understand that one may rob others to give to his parents but not the other way around.
\nWe learned that ‘Father’ is the aspect of Chokmah<\/a>, the upper source of Light and ‘Mother<\/a> is the aspect of Binah<\/a> that receives the Light from the ‘Father’ and deliver it to the children, Zeir Anpin<\/a> (son) and Malchut<\/a> (daughter). Father and Mother<\/a> brings the Light from the upper three Sefirot.
\nThe aspect of ‘robbing’ is when we take\/use the upper light that we didn’t earn. This is a serious transgression and those who belittle it are considered as destroyer and corrupters of the spiritual system of the Tree of Life<\/a>.

\nGenesis 3:19<\/a>
\n“בְּזֵעַת אַפֶּיךָ, תֹּאכַל לֶחֶם, עַד שׁוּבְךָ אֶל-הָאֲדָמָה, כִּי מִמֶּנָּה לֻקָּחְתָּ: כִּי-עָפָר אַתָּה, וְאֶל-עָפָר תָּשׁוּב”
\n“By the sweat of your face You will eat bread, Till you return to the ground, Because from it you were taken; For you are dust, And to dust you shall return.””
\nUntil the end of the Tikun<\/a> of the world is completed and after the process of the Final Redemption we need to earn (sweat) every little light we get from the YHVH<\/a> system.
\nThe sage of the Talmud (Berachot 35) teach us that one who enjoys from this world without a blessing, it is as if he ‘robbed’ the Holy One Blessed Be He.
\nWhy blessings are the proper way to enjoy the light instead of ‘robbing’?<\/strong>
\nThe words of the blessings were constructed by the sages and prophets to create angels that become messengers and delivery agents of the Light to our vessel, giving it power of manifestation.
\nThe spiritual system requires us to earn the light by some action before we receive it. Without the blessings we enjoy something without light. It may look like a complete ‘product’ but it lacks the ability to manifest positively in our lives. In most case the ‘enjoyment’ of something without a blessing release the energy to the other side<\/a> and it turns into judgment sooner or later.
\nIf one doesn’t know the blessings, they should at least pause before they connect to pleasures of food or otherwise and give appreciation to YHVH<\/a> for what you are about to enjoy, understanding that everything is from the Light and without it there’s no ‘life’. It’s good to learn how to say the different blessings. Check link at the bottom.
\nThe Zohar adds that marriage without the seven blessings is also ‘stealing’ light from the upper levels. The unification or man and woman should be done only after they were united with seven blessings. Connecting to other women, even if they are not married cause a corruption of the connection between Zeir Anpin<\/a> and Malchut<\/a>. It is worse when a married man with a married woman. It corrupts both worlds.
