\nZohar Behaalotcha<\/strong>
\nContinued from previous DZ
\nThe patriarchs (Chessed<\/a>, Gevurah<\/a> and Tiferet<\/a>) connect to each of the 72 names with their actions and spiritual unifications.
\nWhen they are united, no one can rise against them. Their unification brings Moses, Aaron and Joseph<\/a> (Netzach<\/a>, Hod<\/a> and Yessod<\/a>). The six Sefirot has 12 borders (see below) and all the aspects together come to 72 (6×12). They spread to different ways and even though they have different meaning, they joined in one way that leads to Malchut<\/a>.
\nThe 72 names have 10 parts of 7 names in each according to the Sefirot. The names והו #1 and #49 are the same as well as מבה #14 and #55. So we have 70 names and two ‘witnesses’ that connect to Malchut<\/a> as the Zohar explains.
\nThe first three parts begins with והו #1 and ends with נלך #21. These three are considered the ‘head’, representing Chokmah<\/a>, Binah<\/a> and Da’at. Then Chessed<\/a> ייי through שאה. Gevurah<\/a> from ריי through כוק.
\nThe three Yods ייי begins the connection to Chessed<\/a> and represents the unification of the three columns<\/a>.
\nThe next DZ study includes a video to make this study easier to understand.
\nThe 12 borders
\nThe six sefirot of Zeir Anpin<\/a> (Chessed<\/a>, Gevurah<\/a>, Tiferet<\/a>, Netzach<\/a> , Hod<\/a> and Yessod<\/a>) form the vessel.
\nChessed<\/a> – South
\nGevurah<\/a> – North
\nTiferet<\/a> – East
\nNetzach<\/a> – Up
\nHod<\/a> – Down
\nYessod<\/a> – West

\nThere are 12 shared borders between the sides of the cube that has 6 directions. We make special connection to these spiritual ‘depths’ during the holiday of Sukkot when using the Lulav (palm branch) and Etrog (the citrus fruit).
\nThe 12 are also the aspects of the 12 tribes coming out of Jacob and the 12 Zodiacal Constellations.
\nThe 72 names represent aspects of ‘bridges’ from the upper three Sefirot through Zeir Anpin<\/a> to the world of Malchut<\/a>.
