48. הַבַּיִת הָרְבִיעִי – (דברים יא) וְהָיָה אִם שָׁמוֹעַ. הִשָּׁמְרוּ לָכֶם. וְחָרָה אַף ה’. גְּבוּרָה חֲזָקָה וְדִין קָשֶׁה הִיא, וְיוֹצֵאת מִצַּד הָאִמָּא הָעֶלְיוֹנָה. וְשָׁנִינוּ, אַף עַל גַּב שֶׁהִיא אֵינָהּ דִּין, מִצִּדָּהּ יוֹצֵא דִין, (שֶׁיּוֹצֵא) גְּבוּרָה עֶלְיוֹנָה. וְאִם תֹּאמַר, וְהָיָה אִם שָׁמוֹעַ שֶׁאֵינֶנּוּ דִין, אֵין כֶּתֶר בְּכָל כִּתְרֵי הַמֶּלֶךְ שֶׁלֹּא יִכָּלְלוּ בוֹ דִּין וְרַחֲמִים, כָּל שֶׁכֵּן גְּבוּרָה שֶׁנִּכְלָל טוֹב וָרַע.
\n49. וְאַרְבָּעָה אֵלֶּה לוֹקֵחַ אוֹתָם וָא”ו וּמִתְעַטֵּר בָּהֶם, וְאֵלּוּ הֵן תְּפִלִּין שֶׁמֵּנִיחַ הַקָּדוֹשׁ בָּרוּךְ הוּא. שָׁנִינוּ, הַוָּא”ו הַזֶּה עוֹלֶה וּמִתְעַטֵּר בְּעַטְרוֹתָיו, וְאוֹחֵז אֶת זֶה וְאֶת זֶה וּמִתְעַטֵּר בְּכֻלָּם, וְעַל זֶה וָא”ו אֶמְצַע הַכֹּל, שֶׁלְּמַעְלָה וּלְמַטָּה, לְהַרְאוֹת חָכְמָה שְׁלֵמָה מִכָּל צְדָדָיו.<\/div>\n

\nThe fourth chamber is from Deuteronomy 11:13<\/a>-21 , which is the second paragraph of the Shema prayer. It’s the left of Da’at and expresses judgment and mercy.
\nJudgment aspect expressed as in the verse 16: “Beware that your hearts are not deceived” and “the anger of YHVH<\/a> will be kindled against you”. Mercy aspect expressed as in the verse 14: “He will give the rain for your land”, and the verse 15: “and you will eat and be satisfied”.
\nEven though every Sefira includes the aspects of Judgment and Mercy, this part of the Tefillin includes a harsh judgment.
\nZeir Anpin<\/a> takes all the levels above, that are Chokmah<\/a>, Binah<\/a>, Right of Da’at, and Left of Da’at, and unites them as one.
\nBecause Zeir Anpin<\/a> is the conduit for the Endless Light from the upper three to Malchut<\/a>, it represents the Holy One Blessed Be He and the center column<\/a> that holds the Right and the Left together. The Sages (Talmud, Berachot 6a) and the Zohar tell us that that ‘The Holy One wears Tefillin’ and after the last few studies we understand this statement. The Tefillin connects to Chokmah<\/a>, Binah<\/a> and Da’at and creates a ‘crown’ on top of Zeir Anpin<\/a> and that is the aspect of ‘The Holy One wears Tefillin’.
