58. שְׁמַע יִשְׂרָאֵל. אָמַר רַבִּי יֵיסָא, יִשְׂרָאֵל סָבָא. רַבִּי יִצְחָק אָמַר, ע’ גְּדוֹלָה, לִכְלֹל שִׁבְעִים שֵׁמוֹת, עֵדוּת הַכֹּל שְׁמַע יִשְׂרָאֵל, כְּמוֹ שֶׁכָּתוּב (ישעיה א) שִׁמְעוּ שָׁמַיִם. וְכָתוּב (דברים לב) הַאֲזִינוּ הַשָּׁמַיִם. גַּם כָּאן שְׁמַע יִשְׂרָאֵל. וְהַכֹּל דָּבָר אֶחָד הוּא. יְהֹוָ”ה – רֹאשׁ הַכֹּל בְּאוֹר הָעַתִּיק הַקָּדוֹשׁ, וְזֶהוּ שֶׁנִּקְרָא אָ”ב. אֱלֹהֵינוּ – עֹמֶק הַנְּחָלִים וְהַמַּבּוּעִים שֶׁיּוֹצְאִים וְשׁוֹפְעִים לַכֹּל.

\n” Hear, O Israel<\/a>: YHVH<\/a> our God, YHVH<\/a> is one.”
\nWe have studied many times before, about the power of the Shema Israel<\/a> prayer. The Zohar teaches us that the two large letters עד spell ‘witness’. The large ע, numerically 70 connects us to the 72 names that has 70 unique names and two doubles that defined as ‘witnesses’.
\nThe names draw the light of Chokmah<\/a> from the upper Garden of Eden to Zeir Anpin<\/a> and Malchut<\/a>.
\nYHVH<\/a> is our witness and that means that he is always by our side, keeping account on all of our actions. This ‘witnessing’ process has great joy in it for those who connect and entitled for it.
