\nZohar Vaetchanan<\/strong>
\nThe Shema Israel<\/a> is a powerful prayer to make unification of upper and lower. The Zohar reveals that we bring light to all of our body parts when we meditate on all the parts of the YHVH<\/a> name that include all the Sefirot and worlds of Emanation<\/a>, Creation, Formation and Action (Atziluth, Briah, Yetzirah and Asiah).
\nWith this unification, the light forces are aligned from upper to lower. One appointee stands for 248 worlds and waits for the unification. His duty is to connect the lower body parts to the upper parts of light to create a complete unification of upper and lower.
\nThe complete prayer of Shema has 248 words and 1000 letters. The first part that initiate the unification has 6 words and 25 letters. 25 is the aspect of the Shechina (כה תברכו) that we need on the lower level to elevate us. We recite it while covering our eyes and meditate on the unification of the names יאהדונהי that is YHVH<\/a> and ADNY names together.
\nWe should accept the names of as the only force that control heaven and earth and that we accept all forms of death. When we do so we nullify the desire of our body to exist and allow the light to spread in our physical body. We should train ourselves to be honest in this meditation and truly accept death. If we keep our physical existence and identity, we ‘close the doors’ and minimize the light that can come into our vessels.
\nThe first paragraph of the Shema is very important as it leads the unification with love (the first word). It has 42 words and 180 letters, numbers that testify for the great value of it.
