\nThe first paragraph of the Shema with the 42 words unifies the upper lights with the 42 names. With the power of the unification, the appointee takes the lower parts including the 72 names and makes them all as one. To strengthen the unification process, we say the word ‘אחד’ (pronounced ‘Echad’) in a longer way (Eh-Chaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaa-dth). We say the א very short and the ח and ד we stretch longer. The process that the appointee follows in connecting the lights to the body parts is called gather Lilies (Roses)’.

\n“דּוֹדִי יָרַד לְגַנּוֹ לַעֲרוּגוֹת הַבֹּשֶׂם לִרְעוֹת בַּגַּנִּים וְלִלְקֹט שׁוֹשַׁנִּים”
\n“My beloved has gone down to his garden, To the beds of balsam, To pasture his flock in the gardens And gather lilies.”
\nThe ‘Lilies’ is the aspect of the light of the supernal<\/a> Shechina, Binah<\/a>.
\nGenesis 2:15<\/a>
\n“וַיִּקַּח יְהוָה אֱלֹהִים אֶת הָאָדָם וַיַּנִּחֵהוּ בְגַן עֵדֶן לְעָבְדָהּ וּלְשָׁמְרָהּ”
\n“Then YHVH<\/a> God took the man and put him into the garden of Eden to cultivate it and keep it.”
\nThe Zohar reveals that this is the secret of God bringing Adam into the Garden of Eden. He connected Adam to the Light of the Garden of Eden, making him one with the Light. Adam needed to keep his ‘oneness’ with the Light until Shabbat night<\/a>, avoiding separation that was coming from the Snake<\/a> and the Tree of Knowledge Good and Bad.
\nBelow is the prayer that we do before going to sleep. It helps cleansing us and the Shema create spiritual protection while removing negativities we gathered during the day. The night sleep would be more peaceful and the soul can ascend higher and get ‘recharged’ properly.
