\nAbraham sent his servant, Eliezer, to bring a wife for his son, Isaac.
\nGenesis 24:5<\/a>
\n“וַיֹּאמֶר אֵלָיו הָעֶבֶד אוּלַי לֹא תֹאבֶה הָאִשָּׁה לָלֶכֶת אַחֲרַי אֶל הָאָרֶץ הַזֹּאת הֶהָשֵׁב אָשִׁיב אֶת בִּנְךָ אֶל הָאָרֶץ אֲשֶׁר יָצָאתָ מִשָּׁם”
\n“The servant said to him, “Suppose the woman is not willing to follow me to this land; should I take your son back to the land from where you came?”
\nThe Holy One Blessed Be He sends Metat-ron to receive the prayer that is the aspect of Malchut<\/a>. The angel asks; ‘what if the prayer won’t come with him’ and the Holy One replied that in such case, he is free from the completing the task.
\nThe name of the servant, Metat-ron, has the numerical value of 314, as the name of God that represents Yessod<\/a>, ‘שדי’ (pronounced Shadai). Metat-<\/a> takes the prayer from Yessod<\/a> and return it, the Shechina, to her place.
\nAbraham is a patriarch and as a father, he ascends and connect to Chokmah<\/a> on the Right, then comes down to Yessod<\/a> to protect the Shechina in exile. This is the aspect of sending the servant (Eliezer, Metat-ron) to find a ‘bride’ (Proper prayer, Rebecca, Shechina) for his son (Isaac, Zeir Anpin<\/a>).

\nMetat’ asked the Holy One for signs to recognize the proper prayer, where the Shechina is.
\nGenesis 24:14<\/a>
\n“ וְהָיָה הַנַּעֲרָ, אֲשֶׁר אֹמַר אֵלֶיהָ הַטִּי-נָא כַדֵּךְ וְאֶשְׁתֶּה, וְאָמְרָה שְׁתֵה, וְגַם-גְּמַלֶּיךָ אַשְׁקֶה–אֹתָהּ הֹכַחְתָּ, לְעַבְדְּךָ לְיִצְחָק, וּבָהּ אֵדַע, כִּי-עָשִׂיתָ חֶסֶד עִם-אֲדֹנִי”
\n “now may it be that the girl to whom I say, ‘Please let down your jar so that I may drink,’ and who answers, ‘Drink, and I will water your camels also ‘– may she be the one whom You have appointed for Your servant Isaac; and by this I will know that You have shown lovingkindness to my master.”
\nIf the prayer satisfies the servant and pleases him, then he knows that the Shechina is within the prayer. If the prayer is not proper then the servant find it full of inequities and selfish. In such case it can’t hold the Torah that is the Light of Ruach<\/a> and the aspect of the Central Column. The Mitzvah that is not fulfilled, is the aspect of the Light of Nefesh<\/a> that is for Rebbeca that represents the Shechina.
\nOur prayers should be on a level that is like presenting a bride for marriage. It must selfless and connect to the Shechina with purity in order to be accepted and raised for unification with the Light.
