52. וְלָכֵן פֵּרְשׁוּהָ בַּעֲלֵי הַמִּשְׁנָה, לֹא הַמִּדְרָשׁ הוּא הָעִקָּר אֶלָּא הַמַּעֲשֶׂה. וּבְמָקוֹם אַחֵר אָמְרוּ, כֹּל שֶׁיִּרְאַת חֶטְאוֹ קוֹדֶמֶת לְחָכְמָתוֹ, חָכְמָתוֹ מִתְקַיֶּמֶת וְכוּ’. יִרְאַת חֶטְאוֹ – הָאֵם הָעֶלְיוֹנָה, תְּשׁוּבָה. חָכְמָה – הָאָב הָעֶלְיוֹן. כְּשֶׁמַּקְדִּים ה’ קְטַנָּה, שֶׁהִיא מִצְוָה, שׁוֹרָה עָלָיו תּוֹרָה, שֶׁהִיא ו’. וּכְשֶׁמַּקְדִּים יִרְאָה לְחָכְמָה, שֶׁהִיא ה’ הָעֶלְיוֹנָה, שׁוֹרָה עָלָיו חָכְמָה, שֶׁהִיא י’, וְנִקְרָא בֵּן. וּמִכָּאן (דברים יד) בָּנִים אַתֶּם לַה’ אֱלֹהֵיכֶם.
\n53. וְזֶהוּ (שמות ג) זֶה שְּׁמִי – י”ה – לְעֹלָם, וְזֶה זִכְרִי – ו”ה. שְׁמִי עִם י”ה – שס”ה. זִכְרִי עִם ו”ה – רמ”ח. וְכֻלָּם תרי”ג, שֶׁהַיְנוּ תרי”ג מִצְווֹת שֶׁנִּתְּנוּ לְבָנִים קְדוֹשִׁים לִהְיוֹת לָהֶם חֵלֶק בִּשְׁמוֹ. זֶהוּ שֶׁכָּתוּב (דברים לב) כִּי חֵלֶק ה’ עַמּוֹ.<\/div>\n

\nWhen we elevate the lower ה<\/span> H of the YHVH<\/a> name that is Malchut<\/a> to the upper ה<\/span> H that is Binah<\/a>, we return the vessel of Malchut<\/a> to the Light of Binah<\/a> and create the aspect of Teshuva<\/a>, תשוב ה<\/span>.
\nThe lower ה<\/span> H is also called Mitzvah because when we follow a Mitzvah we connect to Binah<\/a> that brings the Light of Chokmah<\/a> that is the י<\/span> Y of the name. The outcome of elevation with the Mitzvah connects us to the יה<\/span> YH that are the Father (Chokmah<\/a>) and Mother<\/a> (Binah<\/a>). For that ability to connect we are called (Deuteronomy 14:1<\/a>) “You are the children of YHVH<\/a>, your God”.
\nרַבִּי חֲנִינָא בֶּן דּוֹסָא אוֹמֵר, כָּל שֶׁיִּרְאַת חֶטְאוֹ קוֹדֶמֶת לְחָכְמָתוֹ, חָכְמָתוֹ מִתְקַיֶּמֶת.
\nוְכָל שֶׁחָכְמָתוֹ קוֹדֶמֶת לְיִרְאַת חֶטְאוֹ, אֵין חָכְמָתוֹ מִתְקַיֶּמֶת.
\nRabbi Chanina ben Dosa said: “Whenever a person’s fear of sin comes before his wisdom, his wisdom will endure; but when a person’s wisdom comes before his fear of sin, his wisdom will not endure.”
\nWhen a person study in order to avoid making mistakes and conduct his life with purity, his actions make the difference and his wisdom expands because he connects to the Y י<\/span> of the name, which is Wisdom. Those who study without following the precepts can’t connect to Wisdom and ‘his wisdom will not endure’.
\nFollowing the precepts with understanding the deeper reasons behind every precept is important to make a high level connection. This understanding creates the fear of losing the light they achieve when making sins. Those who just follow the Torah and do the proper actions without understanding may fail easily because they don’t understand the impact of losing the light that the action brings with it.

\n“וַיֹּאמֶר עוֹד אֱלֹהִים אֶל מֹשֶׁה כֹּה תֹאמַר אֶל בְּנֵי יִשְׂרָאֵל יְהוָה אֱלֹהֵי אֲבֹתֵיכֶם אֱלֹהֵי אַבְרָהָם אֱלֹהֵי יִצְחָק וֵאלֹהֵי יַעֲקֹב שְׁלָחַנִי אֲלֵיכֶם זֶה שְּׁמִי<\/span> לְעֹלָם וְזֶה זִכְרִי<\/span> לְדֹר דֹּר.”
\n“God, furthermore, said to Moses, “Thus you shall say to the sons of Israel<\/a>, ‘YHVH<\/a>, the God of your fathers, the God of Abraham, the God of Isaac, and the God of Jacob, has sent me to you.’ This is My name forever, and this is My memorial-name to all generations.”
\n‘This is my name’,’זֶה שְּׁמִי’<\/span>, refer to יה<\/span> YH of the name. Together Numerically 365 for the 365 precepts of ‘You shall not do…’.
\n‘This is my memorial name’ , ‘וְזֶה זִכְרִי’<\/span>, with וה<\/span> VH, together is 248 for the 248 positive precepts. All together equal to 613, which is the sum of all precepts in the Torah. They were given to the children of Israel<\/a> to make direct connection with the YHVH<\/a> name.
\nDeuteronomy 32:9<\/a>
\n“כִּי חֵלֶק יְהֹוָה עַמּוֹ יַעֲקֹב חֶבֶל נַחֲלָתוֹ”
\n“”For YHVH<\/a>’S portion is His people; Jacob is the allotment of His inheritance.”
\nMany people study ‘diluted’ Kabbalah and don’t follow the ways of the Zohar to make proper spiritual connections. Only those lucky ones that feel the light of the Zohar in their heart, seek to study more and follow the laws of the Torah to their best ability. With daily study of the Zohar, prayers and doing the precepts we can create the fear making mistakes that may cause us to lose the light we earned. This fear also drives us to do more percepts. The sages tell us that the reward of fulfilling a precept is the opportunity to do another precept.
