42. אָמַר רַבִּי יְהוּדָה, סְעוּדַת הַצַּדִּיקִים לֶעָתִיד לָבֹא לִשְׂמֹחַ בְּשִׂמְחָתוֹ, זֶהוּ שֶׁכָּתוּב (תהלים לד) יִשְׁמְעוּ עֲנָוִים וְיִשְׂמָחוּ. רַב הוּנָא אָמַר, מִכָּאן (שם ה) וְיִשְׂמְחוּ כָל חוֹסֵי בָךְ לְעוֹלָם יְרַנֵּנוּ. אָמַר רַבִּי יִצְחָק, זֶה וָזֶה יֶשְׁנָם לֶעָתִיד לָבֹא. וְלָמַדְנוּ, אָמַר רַבִּי יוֹסֵי, יַיִן הַמְשֻׁמָּר בַּעֲנָבָיו מִשֵּׁשֶׁת יְמֵי בְרֵאשִׁית – אֵלּוּ דְּבָרִים עַתִּיקִים שֶׁלֹּא נִגְלוּ לְאָדָם מִיּוֹם שֶׁנִּבְרָא הָעוֹלָם, וַעֲתִידִים לְהִתְגַּלּוֹת לַצַּדִּיקִים לֶעָתִיד לָבֹא, וְזוֹ הִיא הַשְּׁתִיָּה וְהָאֲכִילָה, וַדַּאי זוֹ הִיא.

\nPsalms 5:12<\/a>
\n“וְיִשְׂמְחוּ כָל חוֹסֵי בָךְ לְעוֹלָם יְרַנֵּנוּ וְתָסֵךְ עָלֵימוֹ וְיַעְלְצוּ בְךָ אֹהֲבֵי שְׁמֶךָ”
\n“But let all who take refuge in You be glad, Let them ever sing for joy; And may You shelter them, That those who love Your name may exult in You.”
\nRabbi Yehuda explains that the feast of the Tzadikim in the future will include wine that was kept from the days of Creation. The Tzadikim will see things that were never revealed before. That is the aspect of eating and drinking of the future.

\nPsalms 104:26<\/a>
\n“שָׁם, אֳנִיּוֹת יְהַלֵּכוּן; לִוְיָתָן, זֶה-יָצַרְתָּ לְשַׂחֶק-בּוֹ.”
\n“There the ships move along, And Leviathan (Whale), which You have formed to sport in it.”
\nRabbi Yehuda quotes Rabbi Shalom asking about the Leviathan (whale) and wild Ox that were promised to be the feast of the Tzadkim in the future.
\nIsaiah 27:1<\/a>
\n“בַּיּוֹם הַהוּא יִפְקֹד יְהוָה בְּחַרְבוֹ הַקָּשָׁה וְהַגְּדוֹלָה וְהַחֲזָקָה עַל לִוְיָתָן נָחָשׁ בָּרִחַ וְעַל לִוְיָתָן נָחָשׁ עֲקַלָּתוֹן וְהָרַג אֶת הַתַּנִּין אֲשֶׁר בַּיָּם.”
\n“In that day YHVH<\/a> will punish Leviathan the fleeing serpent, With His fierce and great and mighty sword, Even Leviathan the twisted serpent; And He will kill the dragon who lives in the sea.”
\nThe secret of the Leviathan starts from Genesis 1:21<\/a>, expanded in a concealed way in Job chapters 40 and 41, Talmud Baba Batra 74:2<\/a>
\nOne of the explanations is that the Leviathan represents the force of the other side<\/a>. When the time comes, Leviathan (teh whale) and the wild Ox would fight and kill each other, nulifying their energies. Their ‘loss’ would be as food for the righteous. The skin of the whale would be used as walls for the Sukkah of peace.
\nThe first meal after the last day of Sukkot is called the meal of the whale and we do the Kiddush inside the Sukkah even though the holiday of Sukkot is over.
