56. וְכָל זֶה מִנַּיִן לָנוּ? שֶׁכָּתוּב (שם ט) כִּי גַּם לֹא יֵדַע הָאָדָם אֶת עִתּוֹ כַּדָּגִים שֶׁנֶּאֱחָזִים בִּמְצוֹדָה רָעָה וְכַצִּפֳּרִים הָאֲחֻזוֹת בַּפָּח כָּהֵם יוּקָשִׁים בְּנֵי הָאָדָם לְעֵת רָעָה כְּשֶׁתִּפּוֹל עֲלֵיהֶם פִּתְאוֹם. כִּי גַּם לֹא יֵדַע הָאָדָם אֶת עִתּוֹ, מַה זֶּה עִתּוֹ? עִתּוֹ שֶׁל אוֹתוֹ הַמַּעֲשֶׂה שֶׁעוֹשֶׂה, כְּמוֹ שֶׁנֶּאֱמַר אֶת הַכֹּל עָשָׂה יָפֶה בְעִתּוֹ. וּמִשּׁוּם כָּךְ הֵם כַּצִּפֳּרִים הָאֲחֻזוֹת בַּפָּח. וּמִשּׁוּם כָּךְ אַשְׁרֵי אוֹתָם שֶׁמִּשְׁתַּדְּלִים בַּתּוֹרָה וְיוֹדְעִים דַּרְכֵי וּשְׁבִילֵי הַתּוֹרָה שֶׁל הַמֶּלֶךְ הָעֶלְיוֹן לָלֶכֶת בָּהּ בְּדֶרֶךְ הָאֱמֶת.
\n57. וּבֹא רְאֵה, לְעוֹלָם אַל יִפְתַּח אָדָם אֶת פִּיו לְרָעָה, שֶׁהוּא לֹא יוֹדֵעַ מִי נוֹטֵל אוֹתוֹ הַדָּבָר, וּכְשֶׁלֹּא יוֹדֵעַ אָדָם, נִכְשָׁל בָּהּ. וְכַאֲשֶׁר הַצַּדִּיקִים פּוֹתְחִים אֶת פִּיהֶם, כֻּלָּם שָׁלוֹם. בֹּא רְאֵה, כְּשֶׁיּוֹסֵף הִתְחִיל לְדַבֵּר עִם פַּרְעֹה, מַה כָּתוּב? אֱלֹהִים יַעֲנֶה אֶת שְׁלוֹם פַּרְעֹה. אָמַר רַבִּי יְהוּדָה, הִנֵּה נִתְבָּאֵר שֶׁהַקָּדוֹשׁ בָּרוּךְ הוּא חָס עַל שְׁלוֹם הַמַּלְכוּת, כְּמוֹ שֶׁנֶּאֱמַר וַיְצַוֵּם אֶל בְּנֵי יִשְׂרָאֵל וְאֶל פַּרְעֹה מֶלֶךְ מִצְרַיִם, וּבֵאֲרוּהוּ.<\/div>\n

\nThe Zohar asks about how do we know that people act without knowledge of the spiritual system and quote Ecclesiastes 9:12<\/a>
\n“כִּי גַּם לֹא יֵדַע הָאָדָם אֶת עִתּוֹ כַּדָּגִים שֶׁנֶּאֱחָזִים בִּמְצוֹדָה רָעָה וְכַצִּפֳּרִים הָאֲחֻזוֹת בַּפָּח כָּהֵם יוּקָשִׁים בְּנֵי הָאָדָם לְעֵת רָעָה כְּשֶׁתִּפּוֹל עֲלֵיהֶם פִּתְאֹם”
\n“Moreover, man does not know his time: like fish caught in a treacherous net and birds trapped in a snare, so the sons of men are ensnared at an evil time when it suddenly falls on them.”
\nThe ‘time’ that people don’t know is the aspect of the spiritual connection in Malchut<\/a>. Those who study the Torah know the ways of the spiritual system and walk the righteous path of truth. They are protected because they know how to connect to the Right by doing good and how to avoid the bad by disconnecting from the judgment that comes from the Left.

\nWe shouldn’t open our mouth to say bad words because we don’t were they may reach and bring harm and failures on us.
\nWhen a righteous opens his mouth it’s always with peace. We learn that from Joseph<\/a> saying to Pharaoh
\nGenesis 41:16<\/a>
\n“וַיַּעַן יוֹסֵף אֶת פַּרְעֹה לֵאמֹר בִּלְעָדָי אֱלֹהִים יַעֲנֶה אֶת שְׁלוֹם פַּרְעֹה.”
\n“And Joseph<\/a> answered Pharaoh, saying, It is not in me: God shall give Pharaoh an answer of peace.”
\nThe ‘seal’ of God is ‘Truth’, ‘אמת’. It represents the central column and the flow of pure light to the world through Yessod<\/a>. The mouth is the aspect of Malchut<\/a> and the words are the force that manifests in this world. To be a channel of good we must speak truth and avoid any negative word that we don’t have control over their manifestation and the level of judgment that they can bring on us. Bad words can echo negatively and bring us unexpected harm\/judgments while spreading good can bring only good.
