51. וּבֹא רְאֵה, שֶׁהֲרֵי בַּלַּיְלָה, מִי שֶׁמְּשַׁבֵּחַ אֶת רִבּוֹנוֹ בַּשֶּׁבַח שֶׁל הַתּוֹרָה, אָז מִתְחַזֵּק בְּחֹזֶק בַּיּוֹם בְּצַד הַיָּמִין, שֶׁהִנֵּה חוּט אֶחָד יוֹצֵא מִצַּד הַיָּמִין, וְאָז נִמְשָׁךְ עָלָיו וּמִתְגַּבֵּר בּוֹ, וְעַל כֵּן אָמַר ה’ אֱלֹהֵי יְשׁוּעָתִי יוֹם צָעַקְתִּי וְגוֹ’.

\nNight time is the aspect of the Left, Gevurah<\/a> and daytime is the aspect of the Right, Chessed<\/a>. The Torah study at night is the aspect of Chokmah<\/a>.
\nHe who praise his master at night with the sound of Torah, gets strength from Gevurah<\/a> during the day. The Chokmah<\/a> received during the night from the Left is dressed during the day with Chessed<\/a> of the Right. The Zohar describes it as a string of Chessed<\/a> from the Right that connects and protects the one who studied Torah at night.

\nPsalms 115:17<\/a>
\n“לֹא הַמֵּתִים, יְהַלְלוּ-יָהּ; וְלֹא, כָּל-יֹרְדֵי דוּמָה”
\n“The dead do not praise YH, Nor do any who go down into Dumah<\/a> (death);”
\nThe angel appointed to the graves and keep the books about the dead is called ‘דומה’ ‘Dumah<\/a>’.
\nThe sages teach us that the wicked are called dead while living in this world because they do not connect to the Light that is life.
\nThe verse now reads “the wicked don’t praise you YH, neither those who already dead and buried.”
\nThe righteous think about the day they will leave the world. They prepare themselves by following the spiritual laws of the Torah to cleanse and grow their souls. When their souls come before the judge, they will be rewarded for all that they did right.
\nOnly during this lifetime we can follow the Torah and earn merits for the world to come. The Torah tells us that holding to YHVH<\/a>, which is done through the study of the Torah is the way to have the life that is our goal in the world to come.
\nDeuteronomy 4:4<\/a>
\n“וְאַתֶּם הַדְּבֵקִים בַּיהוָה אֱלֹהֵיכֶם חַיִּים כֻּלְּכֶם הַיּוֹם.”
\n“But you who held fast to YHVH<\/a> your God are alive today, every one of you.”
\nIsaiah 38:19<\/a>
\n“חַי חַי הוּא יוֹדֶךָ, כָּמוֹנִי הַיּוֹם; אָב לְבָנִים, יוֹדִיעַ אֶל-אֲמִתֶּךָ”
\n“It is the living who give thanks to You, as I do today; A father tells his sons about Your faithfulness.”
\nWith the study of Zohar we connect to wells of life that the Zohar dig for us from the Torah. We should participate in the ‘digging’ and ask questions to learn and understand more, refining the light in our vessels.
