60. וְהָיָה שִׁבְעַת יָמִים תַּחַת אִמּוֹ, כְּדֵי לְיַשֵּׁב בּוֹ אוֹתוֹ כֹחַ וּמִתְקַיֵּם בּוֹ. וּבַמֶּה יִתְקַיֵּם בּוֹ? כְּשֶׁתִּשְׁרֶה עָלָיו שַׁבָּת אַחַת, וְאִם לֹא – לֹא יִתְקַיֵּם. (וְעוֹד, שֶׁיִּתְיַבֵּשׁ מִזֻּהֲמַת אִמּוֹ) וְאַחַר שֶׁיִּתְקַיֵּם בּוֹ אוֹתוֹ הַכֹּחַ, כָּתוּב יֵרָצֶה לְקָרְבַּן אִשֶּׁה לַה’, בְּקִיּוּם שֶׁל שַׁבָּת אַחַת שֶׁעָבְרָה עָלָיו.
\n61. וּבֶן אָדָם, בְּקִיּוּם שֶׁל שַׁבָּת אַחַת מִתְקַיֶּמֶת בּוֹ הִתְעוֹרְרוּת שֶׁל הָעוֹלָם הַזֶּה וְהַכֹּחַ שֶׁלּוֹ. אַחַר שֶׁנִּמּוֹל, מִתְעוֹרֶרֶת עָלָיו הִתְעוֹרְרוּת שֶׁל רוּחַ עֶלְיוֹנָה, וּכְנֶסֶת יִשְׂרָאֵל עוֹבֶרֶת עָלָיו וְרוֹאָה אוֹתוֹ בְּרֹשֶׁם קָדוֹשׁ, וּמִתְעוֹרֶרֶת עָלָיו וְשׁוֹרָה עָלָיו הָרוּחַ שֶׁל אוֹתוֹ עוֹלָם קָדוֹשׁ, כְּמוֹ שֶׁנֶּאֱמַר (יחזקאל טז) וָאֶעֱבֹר עָלַיִךְ וָאֶרְאֵךְ מִתְבּוֹסֶסֶת בְּדָמָיִךְ וְגוֹ’. בְּדָמָיִךְ – בִּשְׁנַיִם.
\n62. וְאִם תֹּאמַר, שָׁם כְּשֶׁיָּצְאוּ יִשְׂרָאֵל מִמִּצְרַיִם, שֶׁהָיוּ מָצוּי בֵּינֵיהֶם דַּם פֶּסַח וְדַם מִילָה, אֲזַי כָּתוּב בְּדָמַיִךְ חֲיִי, כָּאן מַה זֶּה בְּדָמַיִךְ? אֶלָּא שְׁנַיִם – אֶחָד שֶׁל מִילָה וְאֶחָד שֶׁל פְּרִיעָה. אֶחָד שֶׁל מִילָה שֶׁל כְּנֶסֶת יִשְׂרָאֵל, וְאֶחָד שֶׁל פְּרִיעָה בְּצַדִּיק יְסוֹד עוֹלָם. וְאֵלּוּ שְׁנֵי דָמִים שֶׁאָדָם עוֹמֵד בִּשְׁבִילָם בַּקִּיּוּם שֶׁל הָעוֹלָם הַבָּא. זֶהוּ שֶׁכָּתוּב בְּדָמַיִךְ חֲיִי.<\/div>\n

\n‘it shall remain seven days with its mother<\/a>’
\nAfter the animals pass one Shabbat, their soul is ‘activated’ with the light of Shabbat.
\nGenesis 2:2<\/a>
\n“וַיְכַל אֱלֹהִים בַּיּוֹם הַשְּׁבִיעִי מְלַאכְתּוֹ אֲשֶׁר עָשָׂה וַיִּשְׁבֹּת בַּיּוֹם הַשְּׁבִיעִי מִכָּל מְלַאכְתּוֹ אֲשֶׁר עָשָׂה”
\n“By the seventh day God completed His work which He had done, and He rested on the seventh day from all His work which He had done.”
\nThe Zohar explains that on the seventh day God completed the process of Creation and ‘blessed’ the seventh day, which is the action of bringing the light from Binah<\/a> to the entire Creation.
\nGenesis 2:3<\/a> “Then God blessed the seventh day and sanctified it”
\nWithout the Shabbat’s light, nothing can be considered complete.

\nEzekiel 16:6<\/a>
\n“וָאֶעֱבֹר עָלַיִךְ וָאֶרְאֵךְ מִתְבּוֹסֶסֶת בְּדָמָיִךְ וָאֹמַר לָךְ בְּדָמַיִךְ חֲיִי וָאֹמַר לָךְ בְּדָמַיִךְ חֲיִי”
\n“When I passed by you and saw you squirming in your blood, I said to you while you were in your blood, ‘Live!’ Yes, I said to you while you were in your blood, ‘Live!’”
\nA child is born with animal soul to give him life force. After the first Shabbat the soul is awakened. After the circumcision<\/a> the Shechina pass by him and when she sees the mark of the covenant she bestows on the child light of Ruach<\/a>.

\nThis verse is said during the circumcision<\/a> ceremony. The Hebrew word for ‘blood’ in the above verse, ’ דָמַיִךְ’ is in a plural form. It reminds us of the blood of Passover that the Israelites<\/a> put on the threshold of their homes. It was done to protect their life from the killing of the first born. The second blood is the blood of the circumcision<\/a> that is the first precept given to Abraham connecting him to the higher light.
\nThe Zohar explains here that there are two aspects of blood during the circumcision<\/a>, one is the blood that comes out when the father or the appointed Mohel cut out the foreskin that is the aspect of the Klipah<\/a> that covers the head of the penis that is the aspect of Yessod<\/a>. The second blood is when the Mohel performs the Periah, ‘פריעה<\/a>’, which is the revealing of the penis head with his sharp nails.
\nThese two steps are the second and the third of the four steps of the circumcision<\/a> process that removes four types of Klipot<\/a> from the child.
