51. צְרִיכִים יִשְׂרָאֵל לְשַׁתֵּף אֶת ה’ בַּהֲלִיכָתָם, בִּיקִיצָתָם. זֶהוּ שֶׁכָּתוּב (משלי ו) בְּהִתְהַלֶּכְךָ תַּנְחֶה אֹתָךְ בְּשָׁכְבְּךָ תִּשְׁמֹר עָלֶיךָ וַהֲקִיצוֹתָ הִיא תְשִׂיחֶךָ. קָם אוֹתוֹ תַּלְמִיד וְהִשְׁתַּטַּח לְפָנָיו וְאָמַר: אַשְׁרֵי הוּא חֶלְקוֹ שֶׁל מִי שֶׁזּוֹכֶה לִשְׁמֹעַ דְּבָרִים אֵלֶּה, כֻּלָּם שֵׁם ה’ בְּכָל צַד, וְלֹא יוֹצֵא מִמֶּנּוּ הַחוּצָה בְּכָל צְדָדָו. \n52. וְכִי תֹאמְרוּ מַה נֹּאכַל וְגוֹ’. רַבִּי יְהוּדָה פָּתַח, (תהלים לז) בְּטַח בַּה’ וַעֲשֵׂה טוֹב שְׁכָן אֶרֶץ וּרְעֵה אֱמוּנָה. לְעוֹלָם יִהְיֶה בֶּן אָדָם זָהִיר בְּרִבּוֹנוֹ, וִידַבֵּק לִבּוֹ בָּאֱמוּנָה הָעֶלְיוֹנָה כְּדֵי שֶׁיִּהְיֶה שָׁלֵם עִם רִבּוֹנוֹ. שֶׁכְּשֶׁיִּהְיֶה שָׁלֵם עִמּוֹ, לֹא יוּכְלוּ לְהַזִּיקוֹ כָּל בְּנֵי הָעוֹלָם.<\/div>\n

\n“בְּהִתְהַלֶּכְךָ תַּנְחֶה אֹתָךְ בְּשָׁכְבְּךָ תִּשְׁמֹר עָלֶיךָ וַהֲקִיצוֹתָ הִיא תְשִׂיחֶךָ”
\n“When you walk about, they will guide you; When you sleep, they will watch over you; And when you awake, they will talk to you.”
\nThe Torah channels the life force of the Tree of Life<\/a>.
\n‘When you walk’ – guide us in our daily work.
\n‘When you sleep’ – the soul ascends at night and the Torah protects the body below and the soul on its way up for the night rest and recharge, and on the way back down to the body.
\n‘When you wake up’ – the Torah waits for us to restore the life force in the body.
\nProverbs 6:23<\/a>
\n“כִּי נֵר מִצְוָה, וְתוֹרָה אוֹר; וְדֶרֶךְ חַיִּים, תּוֹכְחוֹת מוּסָר”
\n”For the precept is a candle and the Torah is light; And the way of life, a reproofs for discipline”
\nProverbs 3:18<\/a>
\n“עֵץ חַיִּים הִיא לַמַּחֲזִיקִים בָּהּ וְתֹמְכֶיהָ מְאֻשָּׁר”
\n“She (The Torah) is a tree of life<\/a> to those who take hold of her, And happy are all who support her.”

\nThere people who don’t have certainty and worry about their material existence. Rabbi Yehuda answers them quoting Psalms 37:3<\/a>
\n“בְּטַח בַּיהוָה וַעֲשֵׂה טוֹב שְׁכָן אֶרֶץ וּרְעֵה אֱמוּנָה”
\n“Trust in YHVH<\/a> and do good; Dwell in the land and cultivate faithfulness.”
\nIf we trust YHVH<\/a> with certainty, act with good consciousness then we can live in the material world, Malchut<\/a>, without worries. A complete faith<\/a> creates connection to Chokmah<\/a> and Binah<\/a> that provide everything we need in this world.
\nThe Zohar adds that with such faith<\/a> no one in the world can harm us.
