48. רַבִּי אַבָּא אָמַר, וְיִסַּרְתִּי אֶתְכֶם אַף אֲנִי שֶׁבַע עַל חַטֹּאתֵיכֶם. וְיִסַּרְתִּי אֶתְכֶם, עַל יְדֵי מְמֻנִּים אֲחֵרִים, כְּמוֹ שֶׁבֵּאֲרוּהָ. אַף אֲנִי, הֲרֵינִי מִתְעוֹרֵר כְּנֶגְדְּכֶם, וַהֲרֵי שֶׁבַע לְהִתְעוֹרֵר עֲלֵיכֶם.
\n49. בֹּא רְאֵה אֶת הָאַהֲבָה הָעֶלְיוֹנָה שֶׁל הַקָּדוֹשׁ בָּרוּךְ הוּא לְיִשְׂרָאֵל. לְמֶלֶךְ שֶׁהָיָה לוֹ בֵּן יְחִידִי, וְהָיָה חוֹטֵא לִפְנֵי הַמֶּלֶךְ. יוֹם אֶחָד סָרַח לִפְנֵי הַמֶּלֶךְ, אָמַר הַמֶּלֶךְ: כָּל הַיָּמִים הַלָּלוּ הִלְקֵיתִי אוֹתְךָ וְלֹא קִבַּלְתָּ. מִכָּאן וְאֵילָךְ רְאֵה מָה אֶעֱשֶׂה לְךָ; אִם אֲגָרֵשׁ אוֹתְךָ מִן הָאָרֶץ וְאוֹצִיא אוֹתְךָ מִן הַמַּלְכוּת, אוּלַי יָקוּמוּ עָלֶיךָ דֻּבֵּי הַשָּׂדֶה, אוֹ זְאֵבֵי הַשָּׂדֶה, אוֹ לִסְטִים, וְיַעֲבִירוּ אוֹתְךָ מִן הָעוֹלָם. מָה אֶעֱשֶׂה? אֶלָּא אֲנִי וְאַתָּה נֵצֵא מִן הָאָרֶץ.<\/div>\n

\n“וְהָלַכְתִּי עִמָּכֶם, בַּחֲמַת-קֶרִי; וְיִסַּרְתִּי אֶתְכֶם אַף-אָנִי, שֶׁבַע עַל-חַטֹּאתֵיכֶם”
\n“then I will act with wrathful hostility against you, and I, even I, will punish you, seven over your sins.”
\n‘I will punish you..’. Rabbi Aba explains that the punishment would come by ministers or other nations.
\n‘Even I’ is Zeir Anpin<\/a> and ‘seven’ is Malchut<\/a> that together they will rise to save the Israelites<\/a> and take them out of exile.

\nThe supreme love of the Holy One Blessed be He to the children of Israel<\/a> can be explained as a king that have a sinful child. The king said; ‘I tried to punish you and you didn’t change your ways, if I send you out of the kingdom you may get hurt by the wild and evil. From now on you and I will go out of the kingdom’.
\nThe Israelites<\/a> were close to YHVH<\/a> and enjoyed protection and miracles. The lack of appreciation and going against the laws of the kingdom brought the state of exile on them. In this state they are far from the Light and suffer the consequences but at the same time they have the protection and support of YHVH<\/a> in a concealed way.
