61. לָמָּה אֶל הַכֹּהֵן? סוֹד הַדָּבָר – מִשּׁוּם שֶׁהַכֹּהֵן הוּא שׁוֹשְׁבִין הַמַּלְכָּה. כָּאן יֵשׁ לְהִסְתַּכֵּל, הֲרֵי כָּתוּב (ויקרא א) וְשָׁחַט אֶת בֶּן הַבָּקָר, וְשָׁחַט אַחֵר וְלֹא הַכֹּהֵן, שֶׁהַכֹּהֵן אָסוּר לוֹ בְּדִין בִּשְׁבִיל שֶׁלֹּא יִפְגֹּם אוֹתוֹ מָקוֹם שֶׁהוּא אָחוּז בּוֹ, וְאַתָּה אָמַרְתָּ וְהֵבִיא הָאִישׁ אֶת אִשְׁתּוֹ אֶל הַכֹּהֵן, לָדוּן דִּינָהּ? אֶלָּא וַדַּאי כֹּהֵן לָזֶה רָאוּי, מִשּׁוּם שֶׁהוּא שׁוֹשְׁבִין הַמַּלְכָּה, וְכָל נְשׁוֹת הָעוֹלָם מִתְבָּרְכוֹת (נֶאֱחֶזֶת) בִּכְנֶסֶת יִשְׂרָאֵל, וְעַל זֶה הָאִשָּׁה שֶׁלְּמַטָּה מִתְבָּרֶכֶת בְּשֶׁבַע בְּרָכוֹת, שֶׁאֲחוּזָה בָּהּ בִּכְנֶסֶת יִשְׂרָאֵל, וְהַכֹּהֵן עוֹמֵד לְתַקֵּן דִּבְרֵי הַמַּלְכָּה וּלְעַיֵּן בְּכָל מַה שֶּׁצָּרִיךְ, וּמִשּׁוּם זֶה הַכֹּהֵן לָזֶה, וְלֹא אַחֵר.
\n62. וְאִם תֹּאמַר שֶׁהוּא עוֹשֶׂה דִּין – לֹא כָּךְ, אֶלָּא כְּדֵי לְהַרְבּוֹת שָׁלוֹם בָּעוֹלָם הוּא מִשְׁתַּדֵּל בָּזֶה, וּלְהַגְדִּיל חֶסֶד. שֶׁאִם אוֹתָהּ אִשָּׁה תִּמָּצֵא צַדֶּקֶת וְזַכָּאִית, הַכֹּהֵן מַגְדִּיל שְׁלוֹמָם, וְלֹא עוֹד, אֶלָּא שֶׁמִּתְעַבֶּרֶת בְּבֵן זָכָר, וְנַעֲשֶׂה שָׁלוֹם עַל יָדוֹ. וְאִם לֹא תִמָּצֵא צַדֶּקֶת, הוּא לֹא עוֹשֶׂה דִּין, אֶלָּא אוֹתוֹ שֵׁם קָדוֹשׁ שֶׁהִיא מְשַׁקֶּרֶת בּוֹ, הוּא עוֹשֶׂה אֶת הַדִּין וְהוּא בּוֹדֵק אוֹתָהּ.<\/div>\n

\n“דַּבֵּר אֶל בְּנֵי יִשְׂרָאֵל וְאָמַרְתָּ אֲלֵהֶם אִישׁ אִישׁ כִּי תִשְׂטֶה אִשְׁתּוֹ וּמָעֲלָה בוֹ מָעַל.”
\n“Speak to the sons of Israel<\/a> and say to them, ‘If any man’s wife goes astray and is unfaithful to him,”
\n5:15 “וְהֵבִיא הָאִישׁ אֶת-אִשְׁתּוֹ, אֶל-הַכֹּהֵן” “then the man shall bring his wife to the priest”
\nThis verse begins to describe the Torah law about unfaithful wife. In verse 6
\nthe Torah uses the same action word “מעל”,”unfaithful” about a relationship with YHVH<\/a>. (5:6) “למעול מעל ביהוה”, “acting unfaithfully against YHVH<\/a>”

\nThe Zohar asks to why the Torah asks the man brings his wife to the priest and not to a judge. The answer is that the priest is the support of the Shechina. He makes the connection between the Shechina in Malchut<\/a> to Zeir Anpin<\/a> and for that the connection between man and woman is under his responsibility.
\nThe seven blessings a woman receives during the wedding ceremony connect her to the Shechina and that is why the woman is brought to the priest.

\nThe priest doesn’t make judgment. He is the aspect of Chessed<\/a> and can bring mercy on a woman that was blamed for being unfaithful to her husband for no reason.
\nIf the woman is clean from blame then the priest berings peace among them and the woman become pregnant with a boy. If she lied then the judgment she will suffer is not from the priest but from the name of YHVH<\/a> that she lied to.
