\n“עֲמָלֵק יוֹשֵׁב, בְּאֶרֶץ הַנֶּגֶב; וְהַחִתִּי וְהַיְבוּסִי וְהָאֱמֹרִי, יוֹשֵׁב בָּהָר, וְהַכְּנַעֲנִי יוֹשֵׁב עַל-הַיָּם, וְעַל יַד הַיַּרְדֵּן”
\n“Amalek dwelled in the land of the South; and the Hittite, and the Jebusite, and the Amorite, dwell in the mountains; and the Canaanite dwelled by the sea, and along by the side of the Jordan.’”
\nAmalek represents the other-side<\/a> that push people toward evil doing. There are other nations representing different aspects of negativity that can bring more difficulties on those who come into the Land, the righteous path. These adversaries have a purpose to disconnect us from the ‘Land’. From the story of the spies, we see how they discouraged the people from entering the land. The spies end up talking negatively about the ‘Land’ that God brought us to.

\nCaleb and Joshua kept the faith<\/a>. They saw the same things that the others did but they expressed trust in YHVH<\/a>.
\nNumbers 14:8<\/a>
\n“אִם-חָפֵץ בָּנוּ, יְהוָה–וְהֵבִיא אֹתָנוּ אֶל-הָאָרֶץ הַזֹּאת, וּנְתָנָהּ לָנוּ: אֶרֶץ, אֲשֶׁר-הִוא זָבַת חָלָב וּדְבָשׁ”
\n“If YHVH<\/a> delight in us, then He will bring us into this land, and give it unto us–a land which flows with milk and honey.”
\nJoshua and Caleb looked for the positive and saw a land of milk and honey.
\n‘If YHVH<\/a> delight in us’, they knew that fulfilling the promise of inheriting the land depends on them. If they accept the Torah, God will find delight in them, which means that God find a pure vessel to fulfil. The people need to build a vessel with channel to Yessod<\/a>. That’s the desire for the ’milk and honey’ and God will give them the land for inheritance.
\nLesson:
\nThe lessons from the last studies of Shelach Lecha are to teach us that we need to approach the studies with strong determination and have the final destination as a goal. Those who look for the easy path and immediate fulfilment, can’t have the strength to endure the path to the ‘Promised Land’. Those who fear the obstacles in life have weakness that deter them from the path.
\nThose who program their ‘GPS’ for the final destination, will get there even if they miss some turns along the path. Having a bucket list to fulfil before dying is for weak people with no faith<\/a>. Our goal should be set for the Final Redemption and the Resurrection. We earn merits for it by following the Torah studies that require inner strength and certainty. Without it, the vessel and its ‘GPS’ would break easily.
\nWe can arrive to the ‘Promised Land’ only through the Torah that is the aspect of the operating system of the GPS. As we dedicate more time to study, we can go through greater distances on the way to the ultimate fulfilment, in this life or the next.
\nThe GPS is in our souls and even if our vessel is terminated in this world, the GPS will continue leading us in the afterlife and in the next reincarnation. The joy of certainty is above all feelings. One can feel the closeness to God and his protection. Sometimes the road is difficult and sometimes its smooth and with certainty we know we can bypass all obstacles.
\nStudy daily even for few minutes to keep your GPS active and ‘online’. There are many teachers on the Internet and you must choose your teachers carefully. After all you are the driver and you don’t want to connect to teachers that may corrupt the directions of your GPS.
\nJoshua got the blessings from Moses and Caleb from the Tzadikim, the patriarchs in Hebron.
\nWe should follow their ways and connect to pure and humble Torah and Zohar teachers. Their purity can touch and help us. With connecting to Tzadikim we have support for our meditations and prayers to YHVH<\/a>.
