58. וְאוֹתָם שֶׁלֹּא זוֹכִים לַעֲלוֹת כָּל כָּךְ כְּאוֹתָם אֵלֶּה, (מָקוֹם יֵשׁ וְכוּ’) מְקוֹמוֹת יֵשׁ לָהֶם לְמַטָּה כְּפִי דַרְכֵיהֶם, וְאֵלֶּה לֹא זוֹכִים לְאוֹתוֹ מָקוֹם וְלִרְאוֹת כְּפִי שֶׁרוֹאִים אֵלּוּ שֶׁלְּמַעְלָה, וְאֵלֶּה עוֹמְדִים בְּקִיּוּם שֶׁל עֵדֶן הַתַּחְתּוֹן וְלֹא יוֹתֵר. וְאִם תֹּאמַר, מַה זֶּה עֵדֶן תַּחְתּוֹן? אֶלָּא זֶה עֵדֶן שֶׁנִּקְרָא חָכְמָה תַחְתּוֹנָה, וְזֶה עוֹמֵד עַל גַּן שֶׁבָּאָרֶץ, וְהַשְׁגָּחַת עֵדֶן זֶה עָלָיו (וְלֹא יוֹתֵר), וְאֵלֶּה עוֹמְדִים בְּגַן זֶה וְנֶהֱנִים מֵעֵדֶן זֶה.
\n59. מַה בֵּין עֵדֶן תַּחְתּוֹן לָעֶלְיוֹן? (קהלת ב) כִּיתְרוֹן הָאוֹר מִן הַחֹשֶׁךְ. עֵדֶן תַּחְתּוֹן נִקְרָא עֵדֶן נְקֵבָה, עֵדֶן עֶלְיוֹן נִקְרָא עֵדֶן זָכָר, עָלָיו כָּתוּב עַיִן לֹא רָאָתָה אֱלֹהִים זוּלָתְךָ. עֵדֶן תַּחְתּוֹן זֶה נִקְרָא גַּן לְעֵדֶן שֶׁלְּמַעְלָה, וְגַן זֶה נִקְרָא עֵדֶן לַגָּן שֶׁלְּמַטָּה. וְאֵלֶּה שֶׁנִּמְצָאִים בַּגָּן הַתַּחְתּוֹן נֶהֱנִים מֵהָעֵדֶן הַזֶּה שֶׁעֲלֵיהֶם בְּכָל שַׁבָּת וְשַׁבָּת וּבְכָל חֹדֶשׁ וְחֹדֶשׁ. זֶהוּ שֶׁכָּתוּב (ישעיה סו) וְהָיָה מִדֵּי חֹדֶשׁ בְּחָדְשׁוֹ וּמִדֵּי שַׁבָּת בְּשַׁבַּתּוֹ.<\/div>\n

\nWe continue the study of the Zohar article about the death of Aaron that we started last year with DZ 2469<\/a>
\n#57 (from DZ 2471<\/a>)
\nThe righteous people who are connected to Yessod<\/a> of Zeir Anpin<\/a> become part of ‘צרור החיים<\/a>’, literally means ‘The Bundle of Living<\/a>’ but it’s deeper meaning is to be part of the souls that will be resurrected and enjoy immortality. They would be on a level higher level than all the angels. Their place in heaven would be in the highest level of the Garden of Eden.
\nThe root of this term “bundle of living<\/a>” comes from 1 Samuel 25:29<\/a> (read the entire chapter for the interesting story related to King David)
\n“וַיָּקָם אָדָם לִרְדָפְךָ וּלְבַקֵּשׁ אֶת נַפְשֶׁךָ וְהָיְתָה נֶפֶשׁ אֲדֹנִי צְרוּרָה בִּצְרוֹר הַחַיִּים אֵת יְהוָה אֱלֹהֶיךָ וְאֵת נֶפֶשׁ אֹיְבֶיךָ יְקַלְּעֶנָּה בְּתוֹךְ כַּף הַקָּלַע”
\n“Should anyone rise up to pursue you and to seek your life, then the life of my lord shall be bound in the bundle of the living with YHVH<\/a> your God; but the lives of your enemies He will sling out as from the hollow of a sling.”
\nThe “Bundle of Living<\/a>” is for the righteous and the “hollow of sling” is for the most evil. Their souls are casted between worlds in a very painful restless process for a very long time. (See also Zohar Beshalach #321-325)
\nOn almost every Jewish tombstone we find the letters ת.נ.צ.ב.ה. They are initials for “May his soul be bundled in the bundle of the living”. It was engraved on the tombstone to bless them with the merits to be ‘bundled’ with the righteous.

\nThose who don’t have the merits to ascend to the level of the righteous, have a place below according to their actions. They are placed in the lower Garden of Eden that is called ‘חכמה תתאה’ ‘Lower Wisdom’ to enjoy its light.

\nThe difference between the lower and higher garden of Eden is as the difference between light and darkness. The higher level is described in Isaiah 64:3<\/a>
\n“וּמֵעוֹלָם לֹא-שָׁמְעוּ, לֹא הֶאֱזִינוּ; עַיִן לֹא-רָאָתָה, אֱלֹהִים זוּלָתְךָ–יַעֲשֶׂה, לִמְחַכֵּה-לוֹ”
\n“For from days of old they have not heard or perceived by ear, Nor has the eye seen a God besides You, Who acts in behalf of the one who waits for Him.”
\nThe higher Garden of Eden is has a male aspect and the lower that receives from the one above it has a female aspect. On special days the souls have extra elevations and the lower can go up one level. It’s usually temporary but if the soul earned merits it can stay in the higher level.

\n“וְהָיָה מִדֵּי חֹדֶשׁ בְּחָדְשׁוֹ וּמִדֵּי שַׁבָּת בְּשַׁבַּתּוֹ יָבוֹא כָל בָּשָׂר לְהִשְׁתַּחֲו‍ֹת לְפָנַי אָמַר יְהוָה”
\n“”And it shall be from new moon<\/a> to new moon<\/a> And from sabbath to sabbath, All mankind will come to bow down before Me,” says YHVH<\/a>.”
