It is not a Hebrew or Aramaic word and the English translation is a pure guess related to the general meaning of the verse. The Zohar reveals that this word represents the initials of the four Holy Creatures<br>\nLetter &#1513; for &#1513;&#1493;&#1512; &ndash; Ox<br>\nLetter &#1504; for &#1504;&#1513;&#1512; &ndash; Eagle<br>\nLetter &#1488; for &#1488;&#1512;&#1497;&#1492; &ndash; Lion<br>\nLetter &#1503; for &#1488;&#1491;&#1501; &ndash; man<br>\nThe word for man is &#1488;&#1491;&#1501; &lsquo;Adam&rsquo; and the Zohar explains that here the letter that represents man, Adam, is  Nun &#1503;. The Light from the upper three Sefirot of Chokmah, Binah, and Da&amp;#039;at comes to Malchut through Zeir Anpin.The Torah is Zeir Anpin, a channel that connects us to the upper three Sefirot through Binah. Our connection to Zeir Anpin is through Yessod by studying the Torah on all levels.
