57. רַבִּי יִצְחָק בְּרַבִּי יוֹסֵי הָיָה בָּא מִקַּפּוֹטְקִיָּא לְלוֹד. פָּגַע בּוֹ רַבִּי יְהוּדָה. אָמַר לוֹ רַבִּי יִצְחָק, תֹּאמַר שֶׁחֲבֵרֵינוּ חַכְמֵי הַבָּרַיְתָא הִתְעוֹרְרוּ לָעִנְיָן הַזֶּה שֶׁיֵּצֶר הָרָע יִשְׁתַּכַּח מִן הָעוֹלָם, פְּרָט לְאוֹתָהּ שְׁעַת הַזִּוּוּג. אָמַר לוֹ, חַיֶּיךָ, כָּךְ צָרִיךְ יֵצֶר הָרָע לָעוֹלָם כְּגֶשֶׁם לָעוֹלָם. שֶׁאִלְמָלֵא יֵצֶר הָרָע, חֶדְוַת הַשְּׁמוּעָה לֹא תִהְיֶה, אֲבָל לֹא מְנֻוֶּלֶת כְּבָרִאשׁוֹנָה לַחֲטֹא בוֹ. זֶהוּ שֶׁכָּתוּב (ישעיה יא) לֹא יָרֵעוּ וְלֹא יַשְׁחִיתוּ בְּכָל הַר קָדְשִׁי וְגוֹ’. אָמַר רַבִּי שִׁמְעוֹן, הוּא הַלֵּב שֶׁמְּדוֹרוֹ שֶׁל יֵצֶר הָרָע בּוֹ. רַבִּי אֱלִיעֶזֶר אוֹמֵר, לֵב טוֹב בִּנְיַן הַגּוּף וְהַנְּשָׁמָה, וּמִשּׁוּם כָּךְ כָּתוּב (דברים ו) וְאָהַבְתָּ אֵת ה’ אֱלֹהֶיךָ בְּכָל לְבָבְךָ, שֶׁהוּא עִקַּר הַכֹּל.
\n58. כְּשֶׁבָּא רַב כַּהֲנָא, אָמַר, כָּךְ אוֹמְרִים מִשְּׁמָם שֶׁל בַּעֲלֵי הַבָּרַיְתָא: שְׁנֵי בִנְיָנִים שֶׁל הַגּוּף הֵם – הַכָּבֵד וְהַלֵּב. שֶׁאָמַר רַבִּי שִׁמְעוֹן אָמַר רַבִּי יְהוּדָה, הַכָּבֵד וְהַלֵּב מַנְהִיגִים אֶת הַגּוּף בְּכָל צִדְדֵי אֵיבָרָיו. הַמַּנְהִיג שֶׁל הָרֹאשׁ הוּא הַמֹּחַ, אֲבָל שֶׁל הַגּוּף הֵם שְׁנַיִם. וְהָרִאשׁוֹן הוּא הַכָּבֵד, וְהַשֵּׁנִי הַלֵּב. וְהַיְנוּ שֶׁכָּתוּב בַּפָּרָשָׁה וַיִּתְרֹצֲצוּ הַבָּנִים בְּקִרְבָּהּ, אֵלּוּ שְׁנֵי בִנְיְנֵי הַגּוּף.<\/div>\n

\nRabbi Yitzchak met Rabbi Yehuda while walking to the town of Lod. Rabbi Yitzchak discuss the time the sages at the time of the Talmud, wanted to remove the Evil Inclination from the world, except for the desire for sex for procreation.
\nRabbi Yehuda said that the Evil Inclination is needed in the world like rain. Without the evil inclination that raise the desire for the self, there would not be desire to study and reveal light in the world but at the same time there would be no more sins.
\nIsaiah 11:9<\/a>
\n“לֹא יָרֵעוּ וְלֹא יַשְׁחִיתוּ בְּכָל הַר קָדְשִׁי כִּי מָלְאָה הָאָרֶץ דֵּעָה אֶת יְהוָה כַּמַּיִם לַיָּם מְכַסִּים”
\n“They shall not hurt or destroy in all my holy mountain; for the earth shall be full of the knowledge of YHVH<\/a> as the waters cover the sea.”
\nRabbi Elazar says that a kind and positive heart builds the body and soul because the heart is the most important force in the body.
\nDeuteronomy 6:5<\/a>
\n“וְאָהַבְתָּ אֵת יְהוָה אֱלֹהֶיךָ בְּכָל לְבָבְךָ וּבְכָל נַפְשְׁךָ וּבְכָל מְאֹדֶךָ”
\n“You shall love YHVH<\/a> your God with all your heart and with all your soul and with all your might.”

\nRav Kahana joined them and add that the heart and the liver together are the builders of the body. They control all parts of it. The brain controls the head and the heart and liver the rest of the body.
\nLesson;
\nThe three parts that have control over the body are the Brain, Heart and Liver. They have the initials of ‘מלך’, meaning ‘King’ and that’s more than 3
\nYH – יה- Brain = מח – Soul level of Neshama<\/a> – Thoughts<\/strong>
\nV – ו – Heart = לב – Level of Ruah – Motivation<\/strong>
\nH – ה- Liver = כבד – Level of Nefesh<\/a> – Action<\/strong>
\nThe heart located in the center of the body as an engine that spreads the force of life to all parts of the body. The lungs protect the heart and keep it cool by providing constant flow of air (אויר, אור). That force of life is the soul level of Nefesh<\/a> that’s held in the blood. The heart keeps the blood in constant movement. The liver purifies the blood by absorbing the negativity that got attached to it by negative actions. To purify the blood from that negativity we fast to let the liver works without interference of the desire for the self.
