57. וְעִם כָּל זֶה הַצַּד שֶׁל הַחֲלוֹם הָיָה יוֹתֵר עַל כָּל שְׁאָר בְּנֵי הָאָדָם, מִשּׁוּם שֶׁנִּכְלְלָה דַּרְגָּה עִם דַּרְגָּה, מַרְאֶ”ה בְּמַרְאֶ”ה. וְהִנֵּה כָּאן בְּסוֹף יָמָיו יוֹתֵר חָשׁוּךְ, וְזֶה מִשּׁוּם שֶׁחָטָא, וְהַלְּבָנָה עָמְדָה לְהִפָּגֵם. מָה הַטַּעַם? מִשּׁוּם שֶׁלֹּא שָׁמַר אֶת בְּרִית הַקֹּדֶשׁ בְּהִתְעַסְּקוּתוֹ עִם נָשִׁים נָכְרִיּוֹת, וְזֶה הַתְּנַאי שֶׁהַקָּדוֹשׁ בָּרוּךְ הוּא עָשָׂה עִם דָּוִד, שֶׁכָּתוּב (תהלים קלב) אִם יִשְׁמְרוּ בָנֶיךָ בְּרִיתִי וְגוֹ’, גַּם בְּנֵיהֶם עֲדֵי עַד יֵשְׁבוּ לְכִסֵּא לָךְ.
\n58. מַה זֶּה עֲדֵי עַד? הַיְנוּ שֶׁכָּתוּב (דברים יא) כִּימֵי הַשָּׁמַיִם עַל הָאָרֶץ. וּמִשּׁוּם שֶׁשְּׁלֹמֹה לֹא שָׁמַר אֶת הַבְּרִית הַזּוֹ כָּרָאוּי, הִתְחִילָה הַלְּבָנָה לְהִפָּגֵם, וְעַל כֵּן בַּסּוֹף הִצְטָרֵךְ אֶת הַחֲלוֹם, וְכֵן יַעֲקֹב הִצְטָרֵךְ אֶת הַחֲלוֹם, כְּמוֹ שֶׁבִֵּאַרְנוּ.
\n59. וְהִנֵּה ה’ נִצָּב עָלָיו וְגוֹ’. כָּאן רָאָה יַעֲקֹב הַקֶּשֶׁר שֶׁל הָאֱמוּנָה כְּאֶחָד. נִצָּב עָלָיו, וְכָתוּב (מלכים א כב) וּמֶלֶךְ אֵין בֶּאֱדוֹם נִצָּב מֶלֶךְ. \n1 Kings 11:9<\/a>
\n“וַיִּתְאַנַּף יְהוָה בִּשְׁלֹמֹה כִּי נָטָה לְבָבוֹ מֵעִם יְהוָה אֱלֹהֵי יִשְׂרָאֵל הַנִּרְאָה אֵלָיו פַּעֲמָיִם”
\n“Now YHVH<\/a> was angry with Solomon because his heart was turned away from YHVH<\/a>, the God of Israel<\/a>, who had appeared to him twice,”
\n‘who had appeared to him twice’ teaches us that king Solomon’s dreams were on a higher level than the rest of the world. He had visions while he was awake, which is the aspect of the female, Malchut<\/a>. This level included in the visions he saw in dreams that is on the level of the angel Gabriel. ‘Twice’ is for visions during the day and visions during dreams at night.
\nPsalms 132:12<\/a>
\n“אִם יִשְׁמְרוּ בָנֶיךָ בְּרִיתִי וְעֵדֹתִי זוֹ אֲלַמְּדֵם גַּם בְּנֵיהֶם עֲדֵי עַד יֵשְׁבוּ לְכִסֵּא לָךְ”
\n“If your sons keep my covenant and my testimonies that I shall teach them, their sons also forever shall sit on your throne.””
\nGod promised King David that if his sons observe the covenant that is the connection to Yessod<\/a> and follow the Torah that he will teach them, he will keep them on the throne of kings forever.
\nKing Solomon sinned with women of other nations and corrupted his level of Yessod<\/a>. The moon that is the aspect of the connection between Israel<\/a> and the Light became weaker and dimmed and Solomon couldn’t have the same connection to Chokmah<\/a> as he had before.

\nYessod<\/a> is the first point of connection to the Light. If it is corrupted, the light can not be fully present in Malchut<\/a>.
\nSolomon lowered his level by his actions and for that he needed to receive messages through visions in dreams.
\nBecause Jacob was still on a lower spiritual level when he left his parent’s home, God revealed himself to him in a dream.

\nGenesis 28:13<\/a>
\n“וְהִנֵּה יְהוָה נִצָּב עָלָיו, וַיֹּאמַר, אֲנִי יְהוָה אֱלֹהֵי אַבְרָהָם אָבִיךָ, וֵאלֹהֵי יִצְחָק; הָאָרֶץ, אֲשֶׁר אַתָּה שֹׁכֵב עָלֶיהָ–לְךָ אֶתְּנֶנָּה, וּלְזַרְעֶךָ”
\n“And behold, YHVH<\/a> stood above it and said, “I am YHVH<\/a>, the God of Abraham your father and the God of Isaac. The land on which you lie I will give to you and to your offspring.”
\n‘stood above’, ‘נִצָּב’ in Hebrew in a right angle (90 degrees) and here it means that Jacob saw all the sefirot as one on the ladder. In this dream YHVH<\/a> revealed to Jacob as the six sefirot of Zeir Anpin<\/a>.
\n‘I am YHVH<\/a>, the God of Abraham your father and the God of Isaac.’. The ladder in the dream represented the Central column and its connection from Malchut<\/a>, standing between the Right, Abraham, Chessed<\/a> and the Left, Isaac, Gevurah<\/a>.
\nLesson;
\nWe are like the moon. If we are pure and study to reveal more light, we receive more light like the in moon waxing phase. If we corrupt our ways, we lose our channels to the light and it’s the aspect of waning moon.
