60. דָּבָר אַחֵר וְהִנֵּה ה’ נִצָּב עָלָיו [וַיֹּאמַר] – עַל יַעֲקֹב, שֶׁהַכֹּל יִהְיֶה מֶרְכָּבָה קְדוֹשָׁה, יָמִין וּשְׂמֹאל, וְיַעֲקֹב בְּתוֹכָם, וּכְנֶסֶת יִשְׂרָאֵל לְהִקָּשֵׁר בֵּינֵיהֶם. זֶהוּ שֶׁכָּתוּב אֲנִי ה’ אֱלֹהֵי אַבְרָהָם אָבִיךָ וֵאלֹהֵי יִצְחָק. מִנַּיִן לָנוּ שֶׁיַּעֲקֹכ בָּאֶמְצַע? מַשְׁמָע שֶׁכָּתוּב אֱלֹהֵי אַבְרָהָם אָבִיךָ וֵאלֹהֵי יִצְחָק [הָאָרֶץ], וְלֹא כָתוּב וֵאלֹהֵי יִצְחָק אָבִיךָ. שֶׁכֵּיוָן שֶׁנִּקְשָׁר עִם אַבְרָהָם, נִמְצָא שֶׁהוּא בָּאֶמְצַע. וְאַחַר כָּךְ, הָאָרֶץ אֲשֶׁר אַתָּה שֹׁכֵב עָלֶיהָ – הִנֵּה הַכֹּל מֶרְכָּבָה קְדוֹשָׁה אַחַת. וְכָאן הוּא רָאָה שֶׁיִּהְיֶה שְׁלֵמוּת הָאָבוֹת.

\n“וְהִנֵּה יְהוָה נִצָּב עָלָיו, וַיֹּאמַר, אֲנִי יְהוָה אֱלֹהֵי אַבְרָהָם אָבִיךָ, וֵאלֹהֵי יִצְחָק; הָאָרֶץ, אֲשֶׁר אַתָּה שֹׁכֵב עָלֶיהָ–לְךָ אֶתְּנֶנָּה, וּלְזַרְעֶךָ”
\n“And behold, YHVH<\/a> stood above it and said, “I am YHVH<\/a>, the God of Abraham your father and the God of Isaac. The land on which you lie I will give to you and to your offspring.”
\nThe Zohar explains that ‘YHVH<\/a> stood above’ is above Jacob and not the ladder. God initiated Jacob into the central column. God said ‘I am YHVH<\/a>, the God of Abraham your father’ then ‘and the God of Isaac’ without the word ‘your father’ to tell Jacob that he comes as Tiferet<\/a> in the middle, between Abraham, Chessed<\/a> and Isaac, Gevurah<\/a>.
\nJacob linked first to Abraham and for that it said ‘Abraham your father’ when Isaac was his father and Abraham was his grandfather.
\nThen comes the connection to Malchut<\/a> with ‘The land on which you lie’ to complete the chariot<\/a> with the three columns<\/a> and Malchut<\/a>.
\nThe dream made Jacob realize the duty that God put on him to be the unifying factor of the Right and the Left.

\nThe words ‘and the’ in ‘and the God of Isaac’ tell us that there is a connection between Jacob to the Right, ‘God of Abraham’ and the Left, ‘God of Isaac’.
