65. בֹּא רְאֵה, הַתְּפִלָּה שֶׁל כָּל בְּנֵי אָדָם תְּפִלָּה, וּתְפִלַּת הֶעָנִי הִיא תְפִלָּה שֶׁעוֹמֶדֶת לִפְנֵי הַקָּדוֹשׁ בָּרוּךְ הוּא וְשׁוֹבֶרֶת שְׁעָרִים וּפְתָחִים וְנִכְנֶסֶת לְהִתְקַבֵּל לְפָנָיו. זֶהוּ שֶׁכָּתוּב (שמות כב) וְהָיָה כִּי יִצְעַק אֵלַי וְשָׁמַעְתִּי כִּי חַנּוּן אָנִי, וְכָתוּב שָׁמֹעַ אֶשְׁמַע צַעֲקָתוֹ. וְלִפְנֵי ה’ יִשְׁפֹּךְ שִׂיחוֹ – כְּמִי שֶׁמִּתְרַעֵם עַל דִּין הַקָּדוֹשׁ בָּרוּךְ הוּא.
\n66. אָמַר רַבִּי אֶלְעָזָר, תְּפִלּוֹת הַצַּדִּיקִים חֶדְוָה לִכְנֶסֶת יִשְׂרָאֵל לְהִתְעַטֵּר לִפְנֵי הַקָּדוֹשׁ בָּרוּךְ הוּא. מִשּׁוּם זֶה חֲבִיבָה הִיא יוֹתֵר לִפְנֵי הַקָּדוֹשׁ בָּרוּךְ הוּא, וְלָכֵן הַקָּדוֹשׁ בָּרוּךְ הוּא תָּאֵב לִתְפִלּוֹת הַצַּדִּיקִים בְּשָׁעָה שֶׁצָּרִיךְ לָהֶם, מִשּׁוּם שֶׁיּוֹדְעִים לְרַצּוֹת אֶת רִבּוֹנָם.

\nThe prayer of the poor breaks through all gates and openings on the way up to enter and stands in front of the Holy One Blessed Be He.

\nRabbi Elazar says that the prayers of Tzadikim, are joy and beautification for Malchut<\/a>. When it ascends to heaven, the Holy One Blessed Be he, welcomes it with love. He awaits the prayers of the righteous because they know how to please their master.

\nJacobs prayer was proper
\nGenesis 32:10<\/a>
\n“וַיֹּאמֶר יַעֲקֹב אֱלֹהֵי אָבִי אַבְרָהָם וֵאלֹהֵי אָבִי יִצְחָק יְהוָה הָאֹמֵר אֵלַי שׁוּב לְאַרְצְךָ וּלְמוֹלַדְתְּךָ וְאֵיטִיבָה עִמָּךְ”
\n“Jacob said, “O God of my father Abraham and God of my father Isaac, O YHVH<\/a>, who said to me, ‘Return to your country and to your relatives, and I will do you good’”
\nJacob did the proper connection to elevate his prayers to the highest level. He connected the Right with ‘God of my father Abraham’ then the Left with ‘God of my father Isaac’ then to the center, himself with ‘O YHVH<\/a>, who said to me’. After establishing the connection to the Tree of Life<\/a>, Jacob could raise God’s promise ‘I will do you good’.
\nLesson;
\nWhile the prayers of the poor can go all the way up, be heard and receive fulfillment, the prayers of the Tzadikim have special quality, enhanced by pure consciousness and desire to please God. The Tzadikim don’t think of themselves and their prayers are always to draw light to the world, for the benefits of all.
