\nEgypt is the aspect of all exiles. The children of Israel<\/a> that were born and reside outside the land of Israel<\/a> are considered to be in exile. Those who reside in the land of Israel<\/a> are not in exile even during the time before the coming of Mashaich.

\nLeviticus 26:42<\/a>
\n“וְזָכַרְתִּי אֶת בְּרִיתִי יַעֲקוֹב וְאַף אֶת בְּרִיתִי יִצְחָק וְאַף אֶת בְּרִיתִי אַבְרָהָם אֶזְכֹּר וְהָאָרֶץ אֶזְכֹּר”
\n“then I will remember My covenant with Jacob, and I will remember also My covenant with Isaac, and My covenant with Abraham as well, and I will remember the land.”
\nThe word Jacob ‘יעקב’ in the verse is spelled irregular with extra ו Vav, ‘יַעֲקוֹב’. This ו Vav represents the channel of Light of the holy Temple that was removed at the time of the destruction. At the time of the Redemption this ו Vav, channel would be restored and the promises given to Abraham, Isaac and Jacob would be fulfilled and all the children of Israel<\/a> could come back to their land that would become holy.
\nLesson;
\n‘Remember’ ‘זכרון’ is the aspect of male ‘זכר’ connection, channeling light from upper to lower. God remembering the Patriarchs means restoring the connection to Chessed<\/a>, Gevurah<\/a> and Tiferet<\/a> to allow the light from the upper three sefirot to flow down Light through the channel of Zeir Anpin<\/a> that is represented by the letter ו Vav from the YHVH<\/a> name.
\nAnother name for pe-n-is is ‘זכר’. This body part is ‘erected’ when it has a desire to draw light from the upper level (brain) and channel it to a vessel (it flows down through the spine). The pure spiritual aspect of ‘זכר’ is raising the desire to draw light from the Chokmah<\/a> and Binah<\/a> through studies, prayers and meditations to nourish Malchut<\/a> with the needed light.
\nThe negative aspect is lust and improper unification of male and female, light and vessel.
\nPeople who study Torah and Zohar have better memory than other people because they ‘stimulate’ the flow of light from above to below.
