54. אָמַר רַבִּי יְהוּדָה [נ”א רַבִּי יוֹסֵי], בְּאוֹתוֹ יוֹם שֶׁיָּרַד יַעֲקֹב לְמִצְרַיִם, יָרְדוּ עִמּוֹ שִׁשִּׁים רִבּוֹא מַלְאָכִים עֶלְיוֹנִים. רַבִּי יְהוּדָה פָּתַח, הִנֵּה מִטָּתוֹ שֶׁלִּשְׁלֹמֹה שִׁשִּׁים גִּבּוֹרִים סָבִיב וְגוֹ’, שִׁלְטוֹנִים שֶׁחֲקוּקִים בְּמַפְתֵּחַ, סוֹבְבִים בִּמְקוֹמוֹ הַשִּׁלְטוֹנִים בַּשְּׁבִיעִי, וַחֲקוּקִים בַּשִּׁשִּׁי. זֶהוּ שֶׁכָּתוּב שִׁשִּׁים גִּבּוֹרִים סָבִיב לָהּ.

\nWhen Jacob went down to Egypt, 60 thousand angels accompanied him. Rabbi Yehuda explains that locks are built with the shape of the key. The locks are in Malchut<\/a> and the keys are in Yessod<\/a> that is the sixth Sefira.
\nSongs 3:7<\/a>
\n“הִנֵּה מִטָּתוֹ שֶׁלִּשְׁלֹמֹה שִׁשִּׁים גִּבֹּרִים סָבִיב לָהּ מִגִּבֹּרֵי יִשְׂרָאֵל”
\n“”Behold, it is the bed of Solomon; Sixty mighty men around it, Of the mighty men of Israel<\/a>.”

\nThe ‘bed’ is the aspect of Malchut<\/a>, the Shechina and the ‘Sixty mighty men of Israel<\/a>’ is the aspect of the six sefirot of Zeir Anpin<\/a> and Yessod<\/a> is the last and include all of them. Each Sefira has its own 10 Sefirot and together they are 60. They represent the camps of the Shechina that went down to Egypt with Jacob, who is Israel<\/a>.
\nLessons;
\nJacob represent the Central column, Zeir Anpin<\/a> and when he moved from the Holy Land to Egypt, the Shechina and entire system of Zeir Anpin<\/a> came with him. When Jacob arrived to Egypt, the famine stopped. Even though they expected seven years of famine, it was stopped after two years. The great light of Jacob removed the darkness of the famine and it stopped. Pharaoh recognized the power of Jacob and gave him great honor and land with freedom to study and practice the spiritual laws he followed.
\nThe verse from Songs 3:7<\/a> above is recited before we go to sleep as part of the bedtime Shema<\/a> prayers (below). The aspect of 60 is strong in this prayer to give the soul protection when it ascend up during sleep time that puts the body is aspect of death.
