\n“וַיְדַבֵּר מֹשֶׁה, לִפְנֵי יְהוָה לֵאמֹר: הֵן בְּנֵי-יִשְׂרָאֵל, לֹא-שָׁמְעוּ אֵלַי, וְאֵיךְ יִשְׁמָעֵנִי פַרְעֹה, וַאֲנִי עֲרַל שְׂפָתָיִם”
\n“But Moses spoke before YHVH<\/a>, saying, “Behold, the sons of Israel<\/a> have not listened to me; how then will Pharaoh listen to me, for I have uncircumcised lips?””
\nThe Zohar explains that Moses is the aspect of ‘Voice’ and Zeir Anpin<\/a>. The lips and speech is the aspect of Malchut<\/a> that express the voice as words.
\nMoses argued that because the speech is Malchut<\/a> and he is in exile, his voice cannot express words. Because of that God joined Aaron with Moses as a ‘bridge’ between Zeir Anpin<\/a> and Malchut<\/a>. Together they could channel the power of God through Moses to make the miracles that lead to freedom of the Israelites<\/a> from the slavery of Egypt.

\nMoses was a chariot<\/a> for Zeir Anpin<\/a>, that is voice without speech. While in exile there was no connection between Moses, Z”A and Speech, Malchut<\/a>. When Moses came to Mount Sinai and brought the Torah, Zeir Anpin<\/a> connected to Malchut<\/a>. Voice and speech got connected.
\nExodus 20:1<\/a>
\n“וַיְדַבֵּר אֱלֹהִים אֵת כָּל הַדְּבָרִים הָאֵלֶּה לֵאמֹר”
\n“And God spoke all these words:”
\nThe verse above is the one that opens the 10 utterances (aka commandments). God spoke the words of the Torah that is the channel of Zeir Anpin<\/a> to the world.
\nLesson;
\nMoses didn’t really want to avoid the mission. He was concern that he doesn’t have the power to manifest the words of God into proper actions in Malchut<\/a>. The Torah that was given on Mount Sinai is a tool that channels the Light of Zeir Anpin<\/a> to Malchut<\/a>. It made Moses complete and gave us the ability to draw the Light from Zeir Anpin<\/a> and manifest it in Malchut<\/a>.
\nThe Torah is written by a scribe on a parchment, which is made from a skin of kosher animals. The skin is the aspect of Malchut<\/a>*. Each of the Torah column has 42 rows, except for Yemenite Torah that has 51 rows. 42 connects to the power of Creation and the process of Tikun<\/a> (7×6). 51 is one above the 50th gates of Binah<\/a>. Yemenite Torah considered to have older tradition than the one with 42 rows.
\nThe Torah text is written on the parchment without Nikud<\/a> (vowels) like a voice without sound. Only on Shabbat, the seventh day, Malchut<\/a>, we read from the Torah, expressing its light by adding the Nikud<\/a> from the reader’s mind with the letters of the Torah to speak the words and manifest the Light for the coming week.
\nThe Torah is Zeir Anpin<\/a> and a channel for the Light of Binah<\/a> to Malchut<\/a>. We read it on Shabbat using seven ‘Aliyot’ (elevations from Chessed<\/a> to Malchut<\/a>). There’s a lot of ‘spiritual technology’ involved in the process of reading the Torah on Shabbat that we will expand about on another time. The main points is to understand that the Torah is a voice of God (inner) without a sound (spoken words), until we read it on Shabbat. The Torah reading on Monday and Thursday help us in building our vessels for the complete reading on Shabbat.
\nIt is important to see the letters of the Torah on Shabbat. The ten utterances were spoken by God on Mount Sinai, not Moses to tell us that God’s voice is in the Torah and it’s our work to reveal it and manifest it in our lives.
\n* The bone marrow is aspect of Keter<\/a> (concealed), The bones is Chokmah<\/a>. The Sinews is Binah<\/a>, a bridge between the bones (Chokmah<\/a>) and the Flesh (Zeir Anpin<\/a>). The Skin is the outside layer of the body and aspect of Malchut<\/a>.
