It&rsquo;s our work that connects that light into our vessels.<br>\nThe first day of creation is called &lsquo;Day one&rsquo;, not &lsquo;first day&rsquo;. The following days were described as the &lsquo;second day&rsquo;,&rsquo;third day&rsquo; and so on until the seventh day that was called &lsquo;Shabbat&rsquo;, which means &lsquo;rest&rsquo;.<br>\nWhen we reveal light, we expand our vessels with it. Shortly after we feel lack of fulfillment because the vessel grew and need more light to fill up the newly created space.<br>\nThe sages tell us that &ldquo;the reward for a Mitzvah is a Mitzvah&rdquo;, meaning that we are given a new opportunity to make a Mitzvah.<br>\nOnce we have a space in the vessel that was created by a Mitzvah, we are presented with another opportunity to make a greater Mitzvah fill up the new resized vessel with Light that would again expand the vessel and make new &lsquo;room&rsquo; for a new light.<br>\nIt&rsquo;s not an easy process and some people would like to feel complete fulfillment and rest, but that is impossible on the righteous path. Avoiding opportunities to do Mitzvah and draw light, shrink our vessels. For these situations, the sages tell us that &ldquo;a transgression brings another transgression&rdquo;.<br>\nExpanding and strengthening our vessels require work and the best way to maintain easy growth is by doing good and avoiding bad. The daily study even if it is short,  helps us staying on the righteous path.
