\n“’You shall thus consecrate the fiftieth year and proclaim a release through the land to all its inhabitants. It shall be a jubilee for you, and each of you shall return to his property, and each of you shall return to his family.”
\nThe Torah teaches us how to connect the blessings of Binah<\/a> to the material world. We count a cycle of seven years seven times. The seventh year would be a sabbatical year, and we are told not to work the land. After we complete the cycle of seven times seven, we arrive at the fiftieth year that is the Jubilee year, and the land connects to the aspect of freedom. We are told to free the slaves, to reclaim and return to our land.
\nThe Sabbatical year gives the land spiritual nourishment from God’s blessings and continues to be fruitful. The Jubilee year release the bond to the land. The slaves are freed and open for a new ‘contract’. Lands that were sold to others are no longer have a hold on the land, and the original owner can come back and resettle in his land. These Torah laws teach us that God owns everything and we have only a temporary grip of the material world.
\nExodus 32:16<\/a>
\n“וְהַלֻּחֹת מַעֲשֵׂה אֱלֹהִים הֵמָּה וְהַמִּכְתָּב מִכְתַּב אֱלֹהִים הוּא חָרוּת עַל הַלֻּחֹת”
\n“The tablets were God’s work, and the writing was God’s writing engraved on the tablets.”
\nThe words of the Torah given on Mount Sinai were engraved on the Tablets. The Zohar tells us to read the word ‘engraved,’ ‘חרות’ with the same letters and different Nikud<\/a> (vowels) that mean ‘freedom.’
\nThe Torah is our connection to Freedom that comes from Binah<\/a>. Binah<\/a> is the aspect of the supreme aspect of freedom represented by the upper הH of the YHVH<\/a> name. Malchut<\/a> is the lower הH and the lower aspect of freedom. We earn the freedom in Malchut<\/a> when we connect to the seventh that is Shabbat, Sabbatical year and Jubilee (7×7). On the seventh level, the vessel that is Malchut<\/a> הH has an affinity with Binah<\/a> הH and able to draw ‘freedom’ that is pure and unlimited blessings.
\nLesson;
\nThe Creator, blessed be He created the spiritual system with seven lower sefirot that represent the process and the ‘ladder’ to the upper three Sefirot that provide the Light in its pure state. When we ‘count’ and climb the ‘ladder’ we connect to the upper three Sefirot. Binah<\/a> is at the gate of the top three Sefirot. She brings down to us the blessings from the Endless Light that comes through Keter<\/a> and Chokmah<\/a>.
\nIt is essential for us to be ready for Shabbat with a big vessel, ‘loaded’ with positive actions and ‘climb’ to the desired level to receive the blessings of the seventh.
\nThe aspect of Tzedakah is a critical connection that elevates Malchut<\/a> to Yessod<\/a> and the entire seven sefirot. To receive the weekly benefit, I strongly recommend giving a small amount to Tzedakah every week to sources of light that add to your ‘understanding,’ which is the level of Binah<\/a>. This is spiritual teachings, not a solicitation to give money here, even though we welcome your donations to support our DZ projects and continue spreading light to all people around the world. The fundamental way to prepare for Shabbat is to put a few coins in the Tzedakah box\/jar\/vessel before lighting the Shabbat candles.
\nGiving every week even a small amount adds the aspect of sharing into your vessel and connect it to Yessod<\/a>. We can give every week to a different source that benefits us by providing a better connection to the Light. Each one of them has the aspect of the seventh because they help with higher level connections.
\nHere is another recommendation to connect our channel of sustenance to the seventh.
\nIt would be good to dedicate an hour of work or more (up to ¼ of the monthly tithe) to the ‘Seventh’. Pick an hour during the week and meditate that the work efforts that you do during this hour is dedicated to Tzedaka. This dedication and mediation would draw light to your job, business and or any activity that gives you income and sustenance.
