\nYunus and Yumbrus split the gold among themselves, one took two thirds and the other one took one third. They rose to the sun in mid-day, which is six hours from sunrise. They did magic spells, and at the start of the seventh hour of the day, they raised their hands and brought the gold to Aaron. Aaron took the gold only from the hands of these two evils.
\nWhen Aaron took the gold form their hands, a voice announced the verse from Proverbs 11:21<\/a>
\n“יָד לְיָד לֹא יִנָּקֶה רָּע וְזֶרַע צַדִּיקִים נִמְלָט.”
\n“My hand upon it! the evil man shall not be unpunished, but the seed of the righteous shall escape.”
\nAnd Aaron said (Exodus 32:22<\/a>)
\n“וַיֹּאמֶר אַהֲרֹן אַל יִחַר אַף אֲדֹנִי אַתָּה יָדַעְתָּ אֶת הָעָם כִּי בְרָע הוּא.”
\n“Aaron said, “Do not let the anger of my lord burn; you know the people yourself, that they are prone to evil.”

\nYunus and Yumbrus ‘tricked’ Aaron when they raised their hands to give him the gold. Raising the hands above is a connection to the upper three sefirot. Aaron had to raise his hands to take the Gold, and when he did, he also connected to the upper three Sefirot, where the force of life comes to the world. In this case, he drew life to the ox creature of the other-side<\/a> that the Erev Rav wanted to create. If Aaron were to take the gold from the ground that is the aspect of the lower sefirot, the ox of the other-side<\/a> wouldn’t have had life from above, and nothing would have happened.
\nLesson;
\nSometimes good intention may lead to adverse outcome. We must be careful when dealing with the negative side. Even if we think that we can handle it, just the fact that we are in contact with some form of negative may hurt us.
\nSome of us with good heart and intention try to help people that we see on the ‘other-side<\/a>’. In such a case, we need to go down and pull them up. The danger is that they may drag us down to their level. We can help people ONLY if they choose to go up and made true efforts to shed their ‘Klipots’ that hold them down.
\nThe rule is not to try to convert but to send ropes of support. If they try to pull us down, we let go, even if we lose a piece of rope, which is the aspect of our time and energy, we don’t lose our level and still able to help others.
