79. בַּיּוֹם הַחֲמִישִׁי בָּרָא אֶת דְּגֵי הַיָּם וְעוֹפוֹת הַשָּׁמַיִם, הִתְנָה עִם הָעוֹפוֹת שֶׁהָעוֹרְבִים יָזוּנוּ אֶת אֵלִיָּהוּ בַּזְּמַן שֶׁעָצַר אֶת הַשָּׁמַיִם, שֶׁכָּתוּב (מלכים-א יז) וְאֶת הָעֹרְבִים צִוִּיתִי לְכַלְכֶּלְךָ שָׁם. צִוִּיתִי דַּוְקָא. וְהִתְנָה עִם דְּגֵי הַיָּם לְהַזְמִין דָּג אֶחָד שֶׁיִּבְלַע אֶת יוֹנָה וְלִזְרֹק אוֹתוֹ הַחוּצָה.

\n“Arise, go to Zarephath, which belongs to Sidon, and stay there; behold, I have commanded a widow there to provide for you.”

\n“Then YHVH<\/a> commanded the fish to vomit Jonah upon dry land.”
\nThe Zohar explains that ‘I have commanded a widow’ and ‘Then YHVH<\/a> commanded the fish’ were commands given at the time of Creation.

\nWhat’s the connection between Eve that was taken out of Adam’s side (rib) and the widow from Zarephath that supported Elijah?
\nThe Zohar teaches us that all future events were set on the first day of Creation. It means that past, present, and future existed on the first day. Our daily actions are part of the thought of the Creator on the first day. We manifest ideas into actions every moment of our lives. It is called by the sages “to carry out (execute) from the force into action.” The ‘force’ is the potential that has the root in the thought of the Creator, and the action is our manifestation process.
\nWe choose one of the possibilities offered to us by the Creator that expects us to pick the one that follows the ways of the Torah because then we have access to his angels.
