73. וּבִשְׁלֹשֶׁת אֵלֶּה הָיָה לְאָדָם שִׁנּוּי הַשֵּׁם, וְשִׁנּוּי מָקוֹם, וְשִׁנּוּי מַעֲשֶׂה. שִׁנּוּי הַשֵּׁם – בְּאַבְרָהָם. וְשִׁנּוּי מָקוֹם – בְּיִצְחָק. וְשִׁנּוּי מַעֲשֶׂה – בְּיַעֲקֹב. וְאִם לְזֶה שֶׁנֶּאֱמַר בּוֹ (איוב כח) אָז רָאָהּ וַיְסַפְּרָהּ קִבֵּל בִּתְשׁוּבָה, כָּל שֶׁכֵּן לַאֲחֵרִים.

\nAbraham, Isaac, and Jacob made the changes of name, place, and action. Abraham’s name was changed from Abram. Isaac carried the change of location, and Jacob changed the actions.

\nThe actions of a person are affected by the place he dwells and works even if his actions are good or not. This paragraph concludes the study that was brought by the ‘Faithful Shepherd<\/a>’ who is Moses.
\nPsalms 144:15<\/a>
\n“אַשְׁרֵי הָעָם שֶׁכָּכָה לּוֹ; אַשְׁרֵי הָעָם שֶׁיֲהֹוָה אֱלֹהָיו.“
\n“How blessed are the people who are so situated; How blessed are the people whose God is YHVH<\/a>!”
\nThe righteous souls that came down from heavens to study with Rabbi Shimon and Moses said: “How blessed are the people who are so situated.” The word ‘שֶׁכָּכָה,’ ‘are so situated’ has the numerical value of 345 that is equal to ‘משה,’ ‘Moses.’ They acknowledge the blessings of having Moses teachings. The Moses replied with humility: “How blessed are the people whose God is YHVH<\/a>!”
\n#75 starts a new study subject and is included in the next DZ study.
\nLesson;
\nWe learned that there are three significant changes in a person’s life that affects his correction; name, place, and actions.
\nOn a personal level, we start by changing our actions to follow the righteous path of the Torah to impact positive change in our corrections, bringing purity to the soul. If we are doing everything right and still no change, then we consider changing location, work, social environment, relationships, dwellings, etc.
\nThe last change would be changing the name. We shouldn’t do it lightly because the name represents the soul, and irresponsible change may bring the opposite outcome.
\nIn most cases studying more and making only positive actions would make a tremendous positive change on a person’s Tikun process<\/a>. Each change level to go through may take even a lifetime.
\nNevertheless, we should keep doing the right things without expecting immediate rewards.
