Tikkun 21<\/strong> – 197<\/p>\n

The morning prayer is for connecting to Chessed<\/a> and the prayer of the afternoon is for left column<\/a>, Gevurah<\/a>. The sacrifices in the Holy Temple were ox, sheep or goat.<\/p>\n

The Ox is the aspect of the left column<\/a> and comes down to receive the afternoon prayer.<\/p>\n

Psalms 104:14<\/a>
\n“מַצְמִיחַ חָצִיר, לַבְּהֵמָה, וְעֵשֶׂב, לַעֲבֹדַת הָאָדָם; לְהוֹצִיא לֶחֶם,מִן-הָאָרֶץ ”
\n“Who grow hay for the cattle, and grass for the work of man; to bring forth bread out of the earth ”<\/p>\n

The hay in this verse is the wheat grass after it’s been cut off the ground and the ‘grains’ removed from it.<\/p>\n

The name for grass is עשב, and the Zohar refers to the word as עב – ש, for עב שמות, which are the 72 names.<\/p>\n

God told Adam in Genesis 3:19<\/a> “ בְּזֵעַת אַפֶּיךָ, תֹּאכַל לֶחֶם”, “In the sweat of your face you shall eat bread”. This is the reference to the work in this life to earn the light.<\/p>\n

The Zohar says that the grass is the dress for the wheat that we use for bread. In the same way the 72 names are the dress for the upper light in Malchut<\/a>.<\/p>\n

Psalms 78:25<\/a> “ לֶחֶם אַבִּירִים, אָכַל אִישׁ; צֵידָה שָׁלַח לָהֶם לָשֹׂבַע.”
\n“Man did eat the bread of the mighty; He sent them provisions to the full.”<\/p>\n

When we reach the level of “getting the light from every work that we do” then we can enjoy the “לֶחֶם אַבִּירִים” “Bread of the Mighty”. This is the spiritual food of the angels and also the aspect of spiritual bread that we get from the Torah.<\/p>\n

The Manna that came down from heavens in the wilderness was a manifestation of the ‘Bread of Mighty’ in the level of Malchut<\/a>.<\/p>\n

The ‘Rema’, a great Kabbalist tells us that the Israelites<\/a> blessed the Manna as “who bring forth bread out of the heavens” and not as we do the blessings on regular bread to bring forth bread out of the earth.<\/p>\n

May we all merit the day when we can use the blessings of “…who bring forth bread out of the heavens”.<\/p>\n
