During the night we connect to 24 &lsquo;decorations of the bride&rsquo; where the bride is the aspect of the lower Shechina, <a class=\"glossaryLink\" aria-describedby=\"tt\" data-cmtooltip=\"&lt;div class=glossaryItemTitle&gt;Malchut&lt;\/div&gt;&lt;div class=glossaryItemBody&gt;&amp;lt;span style=&amp;quot;color: #0000ff;&amp;quot;&amp;gt;&#1502;&#1500;&#1499;&#1493;&#1514;&amp;lt;\/span&amp;gt;Malchut is the lowest sefira of the ten sefirot. There is a level of Malchut in all worlds (Atzilut, B&amp;#039;riah, Yetzirah, and Asiyah). In the Daily Zohar studies, the mention of Malchut could be on the upper levels, not necessarily Malchut of the world of Asiyah that is the material world. In general, Malchut doesn&amp;#039;t have a light of its own but can draw from all the levels above it. Malchut can receive the Light in a pure process of &amp;#039;earning.&amp;#039;Malchut is an aspect of the female with a desire for the Light.The image of the sefirot below represents the lowest level of the world of Asiyah, Action, where there is an aspect of physicality, material existence.Malchut of the upper worlds manifests the levels below it. Therefore Malchut is also the Keter of the level below it. &lt;\/div&gt;\" href=\"https:\/\/staging.dailyzohar.com\/?glossary=malchut\" data-gt-translate-attributes=\"[{&quot;attribute&quot;:&quot;data-cmtooltip&quot;, &quot;format&quot;:&quot;html&quot;}]\" tabindex=\"0\" role=\"link\">Malchut<\/a> that goes up to unify with the Light.<br>\nThe Holy Ari tells us that if we follow the requirements of this night, which includes staying awake all night, we disconnect from the aspect of death that exists during sleep. In the morning we receive the Torah that is life energy and any aspect of death disrupts this connection. If we manage to stay awake then, as the Ari promises us, we &lsquo;will complete the year and be free from any harm&rsquo;.<br>\n<a class=\"glossaryLink\" aria-describedby=\"tt\" data-cmtooltip=\"&lt;div class=glossaryItemTitle&gt;Mikveh&lt;\/div&gt;&lt;div class=glossaryItemBody&gt;A pool of water, constructed according to spiritual laws, filled with &amp;#039;lower waters&amp;#039;, which are common sources like groundwater, and &amp;#039;upper water&amp;#039; that is rainwater. Both water touch\/kiss each other in the pool to provide spiritual cleansing.&amp;lt;strong&amp;gt;The Holy Ari&amp;#039;s Mikveh, Saffad, Israel&amp;lt;\/strong&amp;gt;&amp;lt;strong&amp;gt;Women&amp;#039; Mikveh in Crown Height, Brooklyn, New York&amp;lt;\/strong&amp;gt;&lt;\/div&gt;\" href=\"https:\/\/staging.dailyzohar.com\/?glossary=mikveh\" data-gt-translate-attributes=\"[{&quot;attribute&quot;:&quot;data-cmtooltip&quot;, &quot;format&quot;:&quot;html&quot;}]\" tabindex=\"0\" role=\"link\">Mikveh<\/a> meditation in a separate page:&nbsp;<a href=\"https:\/\/staging.dailyzohar.com\/mikveh-meditation-for-the-night-of-shavuot-3\/\" class=\"broken_link\">https:\/\/staging.dailyzohar.com\/mikveh-meditation-for-the-night-of-shavuot-3\/<\/a><br>\nSome opinions say that the end of the year is the month of Adar, which is about 8 months ahead. Some opinions say until Rosh Hashanah that is about 4 months in the future. I read somewhere that each holiday draws specific energy for the entire year. In this case, the year is completed in the next holiday of Shavuot.<br>\nAnother aspect of connecting to life energy is tithing and Tzedakah. On this night there is a higher spiritual unification between <a class=\"glossaryLink\" aria-describedby=\"tt\" data-cmtooltip=\"&lt;div class=glossaryItemTitle&gt;Chokmah&lt;\/div&gt;&lt;div class=glossaryItemBody&gt;&amp;lt;span style=&amp;quot;color: #0000ff;&amp;quot;&amp;gt;&#1495;&#1499;&#1502;&#1492;&amp;lt;\/span&amp;gt;Literally means &amp;#039;Wisdom&amp;#039;.Also the aspect of the right brain. Also called &amp;quot;Father&amp;quot;.Father receives the Light from Keter and immediately connects to Binah, who is the Mother that delivers the Light to the lower levels, Zeir Anpin.Top of the Right Column (Chokmah, Chessed, Netzach). On Shavuot, we eat only dairy food because eating meat connects us to the death of the animal that was killed for us to eat it. Some avoid eating meat from the <a class=\"glossaryLink\" aria-describedby=\"tt\" data-cmtooltip=\"&lt;div class=glossaryItemTitle&gt;Rosh Chodesh&lt;\/div&gt;&lt;div class=glossaryItemBody&gt;Hebrew &amp;quot;&#1512;&#1488;&#1513; &#1495;&#1493;&#1491;&#1513;,&amp;quot; &amp;quot;Rosh Chodesh,&amp;quot; literally means &amp;quot;the head of the month,&amp;quot; new moon.The first day of the Hebrew month. The day of the new moon or immediately after. When the new moon starts on the last day of the month, we celebrate two days of Rosh Chodesh. In such a case, the second day is always the first day of the new month.On Rosh Chodesh, a new light appears in the world, and as the celestial element closer to earth, we are strongly affected by its position to other planets and distance from earth.It&amp;#039;s a positive day, and we make more studies and spiritual connections to draw greater Light on this day. In the Holy Temple, the priest sacrificed a goat to give the other side something to get busy with while we benefit from the Light revealed on that day. It&amp;#039;s a good day to give Tzedakah and light candles for Tzadikim. Even if there is no hilulah of Tzadikim on that day, some have the custom to light a candle for Rabbi Meir Baal Haness to receive protection and miracles during the coming month&lt;\/div&gt;\" href=\"https:\/\/staging.dailyzohar.com\/?glossary=rosh-chodesh-2\" data-gt-translate-attributes=\"[{&quot;attribute&quot;:&quot;data-cmtooltip&quot;, &quot;format&quot;:&quot;html&quot;}]\" tabindex=\"0\" role=\"link\">first day of the month<\/a>.<br>\n<strong>The Idra Rabah<\/strong> (inside Zohar Naso)<br>\nThe Zohar in Idra Rabah begins with Rabbi Shimon announcing &ldquo;It&rsquo;s time for action&rdquo; quoting<a href=\"https:\/\/www.sefaria.org\/%20Psalms.119.126?lang=bi&amp;with=all&amp;lang2=en\" target=\"_blank\"> Psalms 119:126<\/a> &ldquo;&#1506;&#1461;&#1514;, &#1500;&#1463;&#1506;&#1458;&#1513;&#1474;&#1493;&#1465;&#1514; &#1500;&#1463;&#1497;&#1492;&#1493;&#1464;&#1492;&ndash; &#1492;&#1461;&#1508;&#1461;&#1512;&#1493;&#1468;, &#1514;&#1468;&#1493;&#1465;&#1512;&#1464;&#1514;&#1462;&#1498;&#1464; &rdquo; &ldquo;It is time to work for <a class=\"glossaryLink\"  aria-describedby=\"tt\"  data-cmtooltip=\"&lt;div class=glossaryItemTitle&gt;YHVH&lt;\/div&gt;&lt;div class=glossaryItemBody&gt;The Holy Name&lt;\/div&gt;\"  href=\"https:\/\/staging.dailyzohar.com\/?glossary=yhvh\"  data-gt-translate-attributes='[{\"attribute\":\"data-cmtooltip\", \"format\":\"html\"}]' tabindex='0' role='link'>YHVH<\/a>; they have made void your laws (Torah).&rdquo;. It is a good place to mention that the book &ldquo;Gift of the Bible&rdquo; by Rabbi Yehuda Ashlag starts with the article named &ldquo;it&rsquo;s time to work&rdquo; referring to the same verse.<br>\nThe Idra Rabah is read by Kabbalists on this night because it connects to the highest secrets of the spiritual system. There are 4 levels of Torah study and it is called &#1508;&#1512;&#1491;&#1505; &lsquo;orchard&rsquo;. The Zohar is at the highest level of Secret and it is related to the letter Yod of the <a class=\"glossaryLink\"  aria-describedby=\"tt\"  data-cmtooltip=\"&lt;div class=glossaryItemTitle&gt;YHVH&lt;\/div&gt;&lt;div class=glossaryItemBody&gt;The Holy Name&lt;\/div&gt;\"  href=\"https:\/\/staging.dailyzohar.com\/?glossary=yhvh\"  data-gt-translate-attributes='[{\"attribute\":\"data-cmtooltip\", \"format\":\"html\"}]' tabindex='0' role='link'>YHVH<\/a> name. The Idra Rabah is considered to be the secrets of all secrets, &lsquo;Razin D&rsquo;Razin&rsquo;, and it is represented by the upper tip of the letter Yod.<br>\nIn the Idra, Rabbi Shimon and his students reveal the structure of the Lights that came from the Endless to create the world. They reveal the &lsquo;face&rsquo; of the Creator, meaning the inner aspects of the endless Light, that is the desire and force of Creation. Inner aspects mean a revealed state that can be defined.<br>\nAt the end of the Idra Rabah, three of the students of Rabbi Shimon left the world. Their souls departed from their bodies as they reached the highest level possible of personal purity and completed their <a class=\"glossaryLink\" aria-describedby=\"tt\" data-cmtooltip=\"&lt;div class=glossaryItemTitle&gt;Correction process&lt;\/div&gt;&lt;div class=glossaryItemBody&gt;Tikun.The process of hardship, pain, and challenges that we experience in life in order to correct our vessel and reveal Light.
