112. אֶלָּא בֵּאַרְנוּ, מִי שֶׁרוֹצֶה לְהִתְפַּלֵּל תְּפִלָּתוֹ לִפְנֵי הַמֶּלֶךְ הַקָּדוֹשׁ, צָרִיךְ לְבַקֵּשׁ מֵעֹמֶק הַכֹּל לְהוֹרִיק בְּרָכוֹת לְמַטָּה, כְּמוֹ שֶׁכָּתוּב (שם קל) שִׁיר הַמַּעֲלוֹת מִמַּעֲמַקִּים קְרָאתִיךָ ה’. וְיוֹ”ד זוֹ הִיא יְתֵרָה, עֹמֶק הַכֹּל הִיא, וּבָזֶה צָרִיךְ לְבַקֵּשׁ בַּקָּשָׁתוֹ, לְהוֹרִיק בְּרָכוֹת לְאוֹתוֹ מָקוֹם שֶׁנִּקְרָא שָׁמַיִם, לְהָזִין מִמֶּנּוּ אֶת הַכֹּל. וְעַל זֶה הַיֹּשְׁבִי בַּשָּׁמָיִם, בַּשָּׁמַיִם מַמָּשׁ. שֶׁכְּשֶׁאוֹתָן בְּרָכוֹת שׁוֹפְעוֹת וְנִמְשָׁכוֹת מֵאוֹתוֹ מָקוֹם עֹמֶק הַכֹּל, וּמִתְיַשְּׁבִים בְּמָקוֹם שֶׁנִּקְרָא שָׁמַיִם, אָז בְּרָכוֹת נִמְצָאוֹת בָּעֶלְיוֹנִים וּבַתַּחְתּוֹנִים.

\n“A Song of Ascents. To You I lift up my eyes, O You who are enthroned in the heavens!”
\nMost Psalms start with ‘Psalms of David’ or other names (of Solomon, Asaph, Ethan, Korach…etc.). Rabbi Aba says that anywhere we don’t see attribution of the psalms to a person, then it’s related to Malchut<\/a>, the Holy Spirit.<\/p>\n

\n‘who are enthroned’ ‘הַיֹּשְׁבִי’ ends with an extra י Yod that implies to the Level of Binah<\/a>. ‘in the heavens’ ‘בַּשָּׁמָיִם’ is the aspect of Zeir Anpin<\/a> that receives from Binah<\/a> and provides nourishments to the worlds below.
\nPsalms 130:1<\/a>
\n“שִׁיר הַמַּעֲלוֹת מִמַּעֲמַקִּים קְרָאתִיךָ יְהוָה.”
\n“A Song of Ascents. Out of the depths I have cried to You, O YHVH<\/a>”
\nWe lift our eyes to the deepest level that is Binah<\/a> and make our prayers to the Holy One Blessed be He to bestow his blessings on us from the ‘heavens’ that is Zeir Anpin<\/a>. <\/p>\n

\nPsalms 123:2<\/a>
\n“הִנֵּה כְעֵינֵי עֲבָדִים אֶל יַד אֲ‍דוֹנֵיהֶם כְּעֵינֵי שִׁפְחָה אֶל יַד גְּבִרְתָּהּ כֵּן עֵינֵינוּ אֶל יְהוָה אֱלֹהֵינוּ עַד שֶׁיְּחָנֵּנוּ.”
\n“Behold, as the eyes of servants look to the hand of their master, As the eyes of a maid to the hand of her mistress, So our eyes look to YHVH<\/a> our God, Until He is gracious to us.”
\n‘as the eyes of servants’ refers to the ministers of the 70 nations that can be nourished on from Zeir Anpin<\/a>. When the Israelites<\/a> connect and draw blessings from Zeir Anpin<\/a>, all the nations of the world benefit from it.<\/p>\n

Lesson;
\nThe Sefirot are vessels for the Light of the Holy One Blessed be He. Binah<\/a> is a vessel of Light that receives from Chokmah<\/a> and stores it until our prayers open its gates.
\nWhen we make connections to Binah<\/a> with our prayers, we release the Light to flow down to Zeir Anpin<\/a>.
\nOnly the Israelites<\/a> have the ‘tools’ to connect to the upper three Sefirot and draw from Binah<\/a>. Then all the nations of the world can benefit from the light that went down to the ‘vessels’ of Zeir Anpin<\/a>.<\/p>\n
