\n“וְשִׁנַּנְתָּם לְבָנֶיךָ וְדִבַּרְתָּ בָּם בְּשִׁבְתְּךָ בְּבֵיתֶךָ וּבְלֶכְתְּךָ בַדֶּרֶךְ וּבְשָׁכְבְּךָ וּבְקוּמֶךָ.”
\n“You shall teach them diligently to your children, and shall talk of them when you sit in your house, and when you walk by the way, and when you lie down, and when you rise.”<\/p>\n

\n‘when you sit in your house’ is about implementing the ways Torah at home, teaching it to the family in a peaceful and pleasant way. ‘and when you walk by the way’ is about following the Torah studies as Jacob did with gifts, prayers, and readiness for war. (See the study on https:\/\/staging.dailyzohar.com\/daily-zohar-2208\/<\/a>). We need to pray for God’s support, but the study of Torah is more important than prayers.<\/p>\n

\n‘and when you lie down’ is about treating self with holiness, humility and never behave shameless before God. ‘and when you rise’ is about giving praise and thanks to God for his kindness in returning the soul back to life after sleep.
\n‘It shall be as a mark on your hand’ (Exodus 13:16<\/a>) is wearing the Tefillin on the left hand that is weaker and an aspect of Malchut<\/a>. The word for ‘your hand’ is spelled here with extra H ה, ‘יָדְכָה’. The word ’יָדְכָה’ is read as ’יָדְ כָה’, where ‘כה’ is the Shechina in Malchut<\/a> that we connect to when we wear the Tefillin.<\/p>\n

Lesson;
\nThis Zohar reveals that studying the Torah has greater value than prayers. Prayers are important routines to connect to the Light of the specific time\/events, like morning, afternoon, Shabbat, Rosh Chodesh<\/a>, Holidays, etc.
\nThe Torah study reveals the entire range of Light available to us in this world.
\nThe Talmud: Tractate Shabbat 31a explains the verse from Isaiah 33:6<\/a>
\n“וְהָיָה אֱמוּנַת עִתֶּיךָ חֹסֶן יְשׁוּעֹת חָכְמַת וָדָעַת יִרְאַת יְהוָה הִיא אוֹצָרוֹ.”
\n“And the faith<\/a> and stability of your times, A wealth of salvation, wisdom, and knowledge; The fear of YHVH<\/a> is his treasure.”<\/p>\n

“Rava said: After departing from this world, when a person is brought to judgment for the life he lived in this world, they say to him in the order of that verse: Did you deal with people faithfully? Did you designate times for Torah study?…”
\nThe first question is about the honesty of the person and the second is about a regular study of Torah.
\nIf a person doesn’t conduct his life with honesty then even if he studies Torah, he loses its value because his vessel is not fit for the truth of the Torah.
\nThe second question is about revealing the light of the Torah with the study. Since the world was created using the Torah as the code\/blueprint then keeping with Torah study maintains a continuous flow of Life Force to the world.
\nStudying the Torah every day benefits us and the world in general because the Light that is revealed from the Torah may not be part of the daily prayers.<\/p>\n

Not all of us can dedicate daily times for study but we should make efforts to allocate regular times. The Daily Zohar gives us this opportunity. Even 10 minutes a day could be very significant and affect your soul positively.
\nShabbat afternoon is the best time for study because the Light reveals at this time is the highest of the week.<\/p>\n
