\n93. פָּתַח הוּא וְאָמַר, וַיֹּאמֶר מוֹאָב אֶל זִקְנֵי מִדְיָן וְגוֹ’. וַיֹּאמְרוּ זִקְנֵי מוֹאָב וְאֶל זִקְנֵי מִדְיָן לֹא כָתוּב, אֶלָּא וַיֹּאמֶר מוֹאָב. עֲלָמִים לָקְחוּ עֵצָה מִסָּבִים, וְהַסָּבִים נִמְשְׁכוּ אַחֲרֵיהֶם, וְהֵם נָתְנוּ לָהֶם עֵצָה. אֵיזוֹ עֵצָה נָתְנוּ לָהֶם? עֵצָה רָעָה לָקְחוּ לְעַצְמָם. אָמְרוּ לָהֶם לְמוֹאָב: גִּדּוּל רָע גִּדַּלְנוּ בֵינֵינוּ. וּמִיהוּ? מֹשֶׁה רַבָּם. עַל כֹּמֶר אֶחָד שֶׁהָיָה בֵּינֵינוּ, שֶׁגִּדְּלוֹ וְהִגְדִּילוֹ בְּבֵיתוֹ וְנָתַן לוֹ בִּתּוֹ לְאִשָּׁה. וְלֹא עוֹד, אֶלָּא נָתַן לוֹ מָמוֹן וְשִׁלְּחוֹ לְמִצְרַיִם, לְהַשְׁמִיד אֶת כָּל הָאָרֶץ. וְהוּא וְכָל בֵּיתוֹ נִמְשְׁכוּ אַחֲרָיו. אִם נוּכַל לַעֲקֹר אוֹתוֹ רַבָּם מֵהָעוֹלָם, כָּל עַמּוֹ יֵעָקְרוּ מִיָּד מִן הָעוֹלָם. וְכָל הָעֵצָה הָרָעָה מֵאוֹתוֹ דְּבַר פְּעוֹר הָיָה מִמִּדְיָן.<\/div>\n

\nThe Yenuka said that bread and wine are the main parts of the meal and the other food on the table follow them.
\nThe Torah invites us to use the bread and wine as spiritual tools of war. We should follow willingly as the meal is a great opportunity to reveal higher light.

\n“לְכוּ לַחֲמוּ בְלַחֲמִי וּשְׁתוּ בְּיַיִן מָסָכְתִּי”
\n“Come, eat of my food And drink of the wine I have mixed.”
\nThe friends sat down together to eat with happiness and started a new study.

\nNumbers 22:4<\/a>
\n“וַיֹּאמֶר מוֹאָב אֶל זִקְנֵי מִדְיָן עַתָּה יְלַחֲכוּ הַקָּהָל אֶת כָּל סְבִיבֹתֵינוּ כִּלְחֹךְ הַשּׁוֹר אֵת יֶרֶק הַשָּׂדֶה וּבָלָק בֶּן צִפּוֹר מֶלֶךְ לְמוֹאָב בָּעֵת הַהִוא”
\n“And Moab said unto the elders of Midian, Now shall this company lick up all that are round about us, as the ox licketh up the grass of the field. And Balak the son of Zippor was king of the Moabites at that time.”
\nMoab is the name of the nation, not individual. This verse opens with ‘And Moab said’ not like it says later (Numbers 22:7<\/a>) ‘the elders of Moab’. The Zohar explains that the elders of Moab followed the desire of the young to influence them and gave them bad advice, which was to target Moses. They said that Moses was raised by Midian to power when he lived in the house of Jethro that was the high priest of Midian. He married Jethro’s daughter and received money from him. Then Moses went to Egypt, destroyed that big nation, take his people out and pulled Jethro and his house to convert. They saw Moses as the one that holds all the powers and believed that after removing him, they would be able to eradicate the Israelites<\/a> from the world.
