\nThose who support the Shechina and elevate her from the exile in Malchut<\/a> are doing Chessed<\/a> with the Holy One Blessed Be He. The Shechina, our mother<\/a>, protected us from God’s ‘punishment’ when we sinned. She saved us from the pain and delayed the necessary correction. We continued to sin to a point that God had to send us to exile with the Shechina. He swore that he won’t return to his place among us, which is the Holy Temple, until the Shechina is back.
\nWhen we study and follow the Torah, we elevate the Shechina for unification with Zeir Anpin<\/a>. It’s as we redeem the Shechina and the Holy One. With each unification we bring the end of the exile closer. The Holy One Blessed be He will have the elevated Shechina and return to Jerusalem<\/a> for a complete unification and end the exile.

\nElijah and the heads of the upper study halls came to Moses, the Faithfull Shepherd that was revealing the secrets to Rabbi Shimon. They told him that as the son of the King and Queen, the Holy One and the Shechina, his work is not considered as Chessed<\/a> because as a son he has the obligation to self-sacrifice in order to redeem his father and mother<\/a>.
\nLesson:
\nWe are instructed to come together and pray in a Minyan, which is a minimum of ten men in order to form a complete vessel. When such a vessel is formed for spiritual connections, the Shechina joins and help us in the process to open a channel to Zeir Anpin<\/a>. She’s our mother<\/a> and her unification with Zeir Anpin<\/a> reveals the Light on our level.
\nWe should always meditate to unify the upper and lower, even when we pray alone. It’s considered as an act of Chessed<\/a> toward the Holy One Blessed be He.
\nDuring the Shema Israel<\/a> prayer, we should meditate to accept all type of deaths<\/a> in order to fulfil the unification. Only when we nullify ourselves, we become ‘lighter’ and can elevate to be with the Light. Without the desire for the self we become greater channels of Light like great Tzadikim that were so ‘high’ with Light and could do a lot for others because of their self-sacrifice.
\nFor those of us who are still struggling below, we need to make extra efforts to get closer to that level. It is especially important during the month of Elul, before Rosh Hashanah and Yom Kippur that would determine the quantity and quality of light that we may benefit in the coming year.
