\nThe first expansion out of the Light from the Middle point is the Holy Temple, all its chambers that support the middle point, and the city of Jerusalem<\/a>, inside the walls that surround her.
\nThe second spread of light is the Land of Israel<\/a> that was sanctified with special holiness.
\nThe third spread of light was to the lands of all other nations, and the sea that surrounds all.

\nThe eye has a center point and three areas of color surrounding it. The middle point of the eye is the center of the sight of everything. In the center stands the sanctuary of the Holy, the Ark, and its gold covering.
\nThe middle point is the reflection of the whole world, and that explains why King David describes Mount Zion<\/a> as the middle of the everything and the city of the great King, who is the Holy One Blessed Be.
\nPsalms 48:3<\/a>
\n“יְפֵה נוֹף מְשׂוֹשׂ כָּל הָאָרֶץ הַר צִיּוֹן יַרְכְּתֵי צָפוֹן קִרְיַת מֶלֶךְ רָב.”
\n“Beautiful in elevation, the joy of the whole earth, Is Mount Zion<\/a> in the far north, The city of the great King.”
\nLesson;<\/strong>
\nZion<\/a> is the connecting point of Yesod<\/a> of Malchut<\/a>. It is called “Mount Zion<\/a>” because it is the higher level where we can see the Light. It is the center of the world. The first letter of יסוד, Yessod<\/a> is Yod to tell us that it includes the light from the highest level. The word has a numerical value of 80 to tell us that it is spread from the level of Chokmah<\/a> down with the ability to connect to Malchut<\/a>. Jerusalem<\/a> is Malchut<\/a> and below Yesod<\/a>.
\nJerusalem<\/a> of the lower level is dark without the light from the ‘Mount of Zion<\/a>’ that brings completion and fulfillment. Without the Holy Temple and the constant flow of Light to the world, Jerusalem<\/a> is ‘sick.’ That is why Jerusalem<\/a> is a code word for the soul’s yearning for the light, feeling sick without it.
\nThis aspect is revealed from the name itself.
\nJerusalem<\/a>, ‘ירושלם’ is numerically 586, same as ‘Shofar<\/a>,’ ‘שופר,’ which is the aspect of connection to the upper levels.
\nThe actual pronunciation of the name is ‘Yerushalayim’ that is normally requires the letter Yod י to be present just before the last letter of the name. Instead, we find only the ‘chirik<\/a>’ with is a vowel the comes under the Yod to pronounce it correctly. Interesting is that the English word is pronounced like the Hebrew name without the missing Yod.
\nWe find 622 times the incomplete form of the name ‘ירושלם’ and only five times the complete and proper form of the name ‘ירושלים’ in the Bible. (tap here for the search tool I used)
\nThe five times the name appears is related to the Holy aspect of Jerusalem<\/a>.
\nThe letter Yod י represents the Light from Keter<\/a> and Chokmah<\/a> and the name without the Yod that appears 622 times in the Bible has the numerical value of the word בכתר, ‘in Keter<\/a>,’ revealing where to find the missing Light that Jerusalem<\/a>, ‘ירושלם’ needs to be ‘healthy.’
\nThe verse expresses the desire of the body (Jerusalem<\/a>, Malchut<\/a>) to connect to the Light (Yessod<\/a>) it needs.
\nThe complete name will come to be when Mashiach removes the negativity from the worlds and bring the third and everlasting Holy Temple.
\nOur body is the aspect of Malchut<\/a>, and the soul has the desire to connect to God and draw Love and Light from Yessod<\/a> that is the ‘Beauty and joy of the whole earth’ as the verse above expresses.
